Brian Griffin is... COOL Also, the shock of one of your favorite characters, a character you grew to love and hate at times like a friend, just get killed off in a genuinely serious way (even if they would be later replaced with another cool guy and brought back later because at the time, you were convinced this was absolutely permanent) is something I can't even describe

I know I'm late to this, but the first and only time I've cried during a piece of media was Thorin Oakenshield's death. The build up and arcs he went through as a character to 9 year old me was really cool and I was invested in him and Bilbo's friendship. So to see that scene when Thorin is saying goodbye to Bilbo and passing on, along with the amazing, yet somber score made me bawl me eyes out for 20 minutes.

Some good emotional episodes from Nickelodeon is that one Rugrats that focuses on Chuckie's mom and Chaz talks about how she's dead. Also the line that Didi says about "You can miss her together" had an emotional punch. As Told By Ginger had ones that touched about their estranged father. Like there's an early one with a poetry reading that she tried inviting him to. And Futurama had some good ones, like how Fry was mad at his brother for stealing his lucky clover and "copying" him, only to find out that he named his nephew after him. There's that famous Seymore the dog episode everyone talks about. I also I really like the episode where they try to harvest royal jelly and Fry gets stung through when trying to protect Leela.

H. Brian Griffin is a fictional character from the American animated television series Family Guy. An anthropomorphic white Labrador retriever voiced by Seth MacFarlane, he is one of the show's main characters as a member of the Griffin family. He primarily works in the series as a slightly smug and less-than-adept writer struggling to find himself, attempting essays, novels, screenplays, and newspaper articles.

My favorite episode of any show period, and I haven’t seen Breaking Bad or Game of Thrones or shit like that, but my favorite is The Choices from The Amazing World of Gumball. The ending of the episode is like the beginning of Up, where we just see some freakin’ spectacular piano music playing while we see the main characters’ lives roll in front of our eyes, and considering what that show is like, a moment like that is so special, and it’s shocking. God, I fucking love Gumball. Gravity Falls’ ‘Not What He Seems’ was also great in the emotion too. I love it when sitcoms or shows that usually aim towards comedy, and when there’s some random fucking episode that focuses on some serious situations, or tries to act genuine, and where they just focus on the characters, but also sprinkle the kind of humor that made the show so beloved in the first place. It just so happens that there’s really good drama on top of that also. And that’s what The Choices accomplishes for me. This is why dramaties are my favorite genre.

The ending of Ninjago Season 3 made my cry so fucking hard as a kid. Having Zane, the character with the most interesting character and history (at least at that point in the show), sacrifice himself with an emotional new version of his character theme playing, showing quick clips from the past seasons of him… it just KILLED me as a kid. Still a banger scene.

A incredible god amongst men. When I found this lovely little fella online I was nearly brought to tears, for I have seen a god with my own eyes, I ordered him instantly and he came in just under 2 weeks, he was found stuffed into my mail box and I ripped that bag open to reveal him wrapped in a tightly sealed plastic burrito, i take him everywhere with me, I will put him into my purse and I’ll make sure his head sticks out just enough that people giggle at his emerald green emotionless eyes, i love him.

Adventure Time: Together Again had me all the way fucked up for like a week. I was going through a lot of existential dread type stuff at the time and the entire special just had me in an emotional rollercoaster. The ending was the first time I had cried at a TV show since I was a kid. -----SPOILERS----- When Jake initially says he wants to stay and not be reincarnated, but then as Finn finally accepts that and begins to pass on, and Jake's hand comes into frame and grabs Finn's, and they move on to the next life together did an incredible amount of emotional damage to me. I still tear up when I hear the credits song now.

The first movie or TV show I ever cried at was Penguins of Madagascar. I have only a little shame. But more recently (albeit, this isn't a cartoon, it's a KZbin movie) there’s Borderline Forever, the Scott the Woz movie. Here me out please It isn't anything about the episode itself, but the... credits. Yeah really. I didn't cry per say, but something about the smooth jazz with the blue credit scroll, and the "Thank You" at the end, makes me feel so cozy.

I grew up with Time Warner Cable (Now Spectrum) 8 was Fox, 11 was PBS, 31 was FX, 32-34 were CN, Nick, and Disney, 35 was ABC Fsmily... Only the living room tv had a box, so the rest of the house only went up to, like, 81 or something. With the cable box, though, we got Toon Disney (later changed to Disney XD) on 120, and several west coast channels like Disney W, which would just be the same stuff 3hrs later. We switched to DirecTV at one point, which got us a couple bonus channels, like Boomerang and Nicktoons, but it never worked when weather was bad. Even if it was just cloudy, like it was about to rain, the signal would get all choppy, so we eventually switched back to Spectrum.
