Very grand of you Brian to organize this surprise trip for Alec. You’re showing off your “Husband Skills for Dummies”. Another passage to be entered into the book. That was something I learned not so quick was NOT to put my credit card in the same pocket as my phone. The card drops out almost every time. I lost my card twice, luckily both times in the office at work. After the 2nd time, I did it a few more times and immediately picked it up. Then I realized something had to change.

The shoe man was also a scam. Who said I wantd my shoe if I did I would of cleaned it before I leave the USA. He saw a stranger and decided to get something out of you. That is what we should know the basic language in Spanish when we were in school we didn't learn Spanish but now that we have grown older and we decide to travel to these places we do need it now.

Glad you made it safe home. Unfortunately, 24 hours is not enough. Santo Domingo has a lot of beautiful places to visit. There’s a lot of history, beaches, cuisine etc. Hope one day you can visit with more time. Dominican Republic has a lot of different places to visit. A lot of folks only talk about Punta Cana and they are missing out on so much more. I was born there but raised in USA and each year I try to visit a different area getting to know my homeland more and more.

Stayed here before and just around the corner have some really good restaurants that are very affordable with good Dominican food. Also you are very close to Zona Colonial which is the historical district. However l hate the traffic outside the hotel if you want to cross the road to walk along the water

I love the DR and go there frequently. I also frequently go to Boca Chica. I am not familiar with the restaurant you attended. I usually go to an area that is frequented by the locals and the wait staff speak English.

Hello Brian and Alec! It's been a long time since I've communicated with you guys. The last time was when I offered to officiate your wedding, and I think that you thought that because I live in Jonesboro, Georgia, I would want you to come to me, but I was certainly willing to come to you. Now I just viewed your trip to Santo Domingo, and Santo Domingo is where a dated a Dominican for 8 years. He was, even after a number of tries, never able to get a Visa to come with me to the USA. Your short trip there exposed many of the "tricks" that visitors experience when they don't know how to avoid these issues. Even most of the resorts have prices for Dominicans and prices for others. Hopefully you'll return on day, with a Dominican who knows how to beat the tricks. Andy

I also had my cc fell out in restroom and the guy behind me followed me to give back, so good ones are out there 🙏 I don’t drive there, I know a guy he drives me and my friends around and if he can’t make it he got drivers etc. .. you should ask for English menus ( they have them available) How is your Invisalign going Alec ?

Love watching you guys! If you ever plan to go back to the DR, I say do your research on what has happened to some black people over there. Due to their long term history with Haiti, they tend to treat darker skin people different over there. Just want yall to be safe!
