Yasin: My wife, she was my girlfriend that time. She has a cousin there and her family. We went to visit her for two days. That's why I don't even remember the name. We went there by train. I mean for ong time actually stayed. I stayed there almost for two years. Maz: Oh, what? In London? Yasin: Yeay! Yes, yes! I worked there, I went to like a language course in London and worked, yeah! Yasin: I'm sure, I'm sure. I'm sure the prices have changed a lot. I heard that. Someone just telling me.. One of our friend's son is now in somewhere around London. Not in London. He's going to pay for a room like montly 650 pouns. Not even in London. Somewhere like Chester... something.. Maz: Yeah! That's not even... Like that's outskirt... I pay like 700 and something pounds... and I live in London. Yasin: You live in London. Where do you live in London? Actually it changes... Maz: Yeah, I live in Peckham. Yasin: Peckham, Yeah Peckham is good. Maz: Yeah yeah Peckham Yasin: I know Peckham. Maz: Where did you live when you were living in London? Yasin: Ok! First time I lived in Harrow. Harrow on the Hill. Do you remember Harrow? Maz: Oh, yeah, yeah! Yasin: That was 5th zone. The second time Islington. Maz: Islington is very nice. Yasin: Yeah! I mean I worked in Angel. It was kind of central. Maz: It's very nice, yeah! Yasin: Even that time I used to pay like for a room... and that was a nice room actually that was like a hotel room not that much good and clean but I used pay like 90 pounds per week. Yes! 13 years ago prices were not like this. Maz: Oh my good! Yasin: And what do you do now in London? Maz: So, I work as an artist. So, I was working... Yeah, I graduated two years ago from fine art and then I've been working in odd jobs. Like just rubbish jobs and then I decided to be freelance this year. Because I work as a set design assistant. Do you know set design? Yasin: Set design assistant, yeah! I mean for the like films... Maz: Films, theatre.. Yasin: Video clips.. Maz: But I do this in fashion. So, I do fashion. When there is like fashion shoots, I will help with the props and dress the props, dress the set, and make it look good for the camera. So that's freelances... So, I don't get those jobs all the time. So, I need to fill it by teaching in the free time. Yasin: Yeah, sure! It's great! It's great. Maz: So, I do a lot of thingsbut it's not consistent, yeah! So, it's difficult. Especially in London. Because it's so expensive. Bu it's right! When it's good, it's great! Because you have freedom and you can do what you want. So, basically I do it so, I can make art. Bu at the moment I don't have that much time to make art and I'm freelancer. And it's like... it's not even working. Sort of... Yeah! So, I'm going to basically I will change of the plan. And I'm going away for an artist in residency. Where you go and for two months... I'll pay some money but I rent my room out in London. And I'll work in... So, I'm going to Iceland. And then I'm going to work as an artist there for two months. So, I can build up somework and then afterwards... I'll be getting normal job and save up and do an master's. Yasin: Sounds good! Maz: Yeah, my career plan! Yasin: Yeah, that's so good! So, you're goind to rent your room to someone else. Maz: Yeah! Yasin: Just to keep it. Maz: So, yeah, yeah! So, like I live in a house with my best friends. So, I don't want to lose my room. Because I'm coming back to London after the two months. So, in october, november I'm away and then I'll back in december. So, I've got some friends who wants to rent it for a month each. Yasin: I was not going to tell you find a terrible tenant for your friends. Just someone disgusting... They'll have to share the house. Maz: I know it's a... sometimes it's a bit risky to get someone to... you know... to use your room. When you share with your friends. But fortunately the people I've chose, they are clean and nice people... Yasin: Okay, okay! I had friends at first when I was in the Harrow on the Hill... Like some of them were from Eastern Europe. My wife is from Eastern Europe as well. I mean I'm not judging but they drank like a lot of alcohol. They used start in the morning till the evening... I mean I was going to my job and I was coming... Still they are drinking. Maz: Really? Yasin: Oh my goodness! I was always thinking... How do they find this much money to drink like.. Like are they making their own drinks? So they were, actually they were okay! Bu in the nights there were so loud, Like they were having kind of party in the kitchen and those kind of stuff... And I had yeah... one neighbour here... one neighbour very unsocial Polish engineer I had. but the guy was like crazy intelligent. But very unsocial. He was always telling me... "Just if you go out can you invite me as well". And he was actually talking to me like so quite... Like I was always approaching to him to hear what he's saying. But one day he invited me in his room. He said "I'm going to show you something." Then, he was programming a computer game... 13 years ago! He said "can you come and check" I said, sure! I was always wondering what he was doing... He was... how to say that? making games, yeah! Maz: Yeah, yeah exactly! Creating games. Yasin: He said just hide somewhere. Okay. His cam is watching me. With now tecnology is okay but that wasn't this much good. So, there is a guy in the screen he is trying to shoot me. Bu I was hiding somewhere like he is trying to see me. He was doing this, the guy he was trying to shoot me. So, I was jumping to other for example behind the chair. He was trying to shoot me. That was a game he made. I said can you swear you are making this game. He said "Yes, I'm programming, I'm doing everything." I think... His name is Jakup from Poland. I think Jakup is so rich now. I'm sure. Maz: Yeah! That is insane! Yasin: That is insane! 13 years ago! Jakup is probably in California in Silicon Valley somewhere I don't know... Maz: Yeah! He must... or sadly someone else might have got that before him and taken his idea. Yasin: But still he has talnt. He can make games. I mean... Maz: Yeah! Yasin: It's not only about the idea. Maybe even taht time that wasn't his idea. He copied it from someone else but he is doing by himself... Maz: Yeah! Exactly! Yasin: He has the ability and that time I had a girlfriend, and Jakup was sometimes He was hanging out with us. Then we broke up and in a week I think Jakup came to me and he said "Yasin what happened to like" what was her name? Noemi.. Okay, I said we broke up... "Actually she was so lovely. Can I get her phone number?" Maz: No way! Yasin: I said Jakup!! That's a very lovely bot okay but he doesn't know these things. J said Jakup! It doesn't work like that, okay? If you are thinking like she was a good friend. I mean you want to be friend with her... Okay! But... if you wanna have relationship... and how am I going to tell her? Jakup wants your phone number or I just gave your phone number to Jakup.

Değil, bazıları ilginç. Geçen bir ders yapayım dedim, klavyeye gömülmüş sadece alnını gösteriyor ara sıra ekrana bakıyor, göz kaydırıyor falan enteresan insanlara denk gelebiliyorsun ama benim seçtiklerim genelde konuşkan, sabırlı ve öğretici insanlardı.
