I got the same replacement kits for mine. Just have to do the work now. I ran RG400 coax new inside and new BNC and SO 239 as well. I got ameritron external soft start both the 240V and 120v models so I don't need the internal soft start. looks great 73's

mike, I want to make the SS-200 input networks accessable without dismatalog the amp everytime. would you make a small door or try to drill seperate holes each band with pop-in metal covers on each. Ed W6AOA

Mike, when drilling a new hole in the chassis, how do you prevent metal shavings from contaminating the chassis?

Ahh man I really wanted to hear if it was quieter than the original one. I ripped my og one out and put in some 12v fans but the circuit I'm using to power them is quite rudimentary so they bog on transmit, leaving the tubes basically uncooled until I unkey. Not the best practice probably.

I replaced mine with a much larger fan cut a hole to take a about 5 inch axial fan pushes hole lot more air.

Beware Chinese tubes are very poor quality.
