I just purchased a Sport Glide on June. First two things I did to it was put some floorboards on it. I agree Meghan the pegs make absolutely no sense on this softail touring model. Second thing I did was pit on a 12” windshield. So far I am very with the bike. Great content Counselor btw.

I love my Sport Glide 18k miles. Nimble but solid feel of the inverted front forks. Cruise control, USB port, ABS makes for a great solo tour bike while no tools quick detach of fairing & bags for a great bar hopper. About 100 pounds lighter than bagger touring bikes and the most tech of the softails. 6’4 I added the 1” shock spacer for a better ride height for me and useable windshield. I guess I'm coming to this late - but I have a Sport Glide. Rather than go to mids, I had FatBoy factory rider floorboard brackets & Heritage floorboards mounted to mine before I took delivery. The bike has a much better light touring personality with that change. I also had a Stage II Torque modification done at the same time; if you can believe Harley's charts a 107 so equipped has about the same power as a stock 114. I also ride an Ultra Limited, but my Sport Glide is my "go to" for local rides. And - it looks good on you!

Sport glide bags can be mounted to your low rider, obviously there's some parts to order, but it can and has been done. Two into one exhaust would likely be needed for clearance too.

I love my Sport Glide. It's a gorgeous bike and is extremely versatile. Meg is right about the forward controls, so it's probably not the best bike for her unless she gets them changed, but this seems to be her only complaint. But she looked badass on the bike. I'm 6 ft, and the controls are perfect for me, but the stock bar is a bit far, especially for U-turns, and I have long arms. I will never sell or trade my Sport Glide. And for those that don't know, there is a huge following of this bike on FB.

I had reservations about the forward controls at first. I figured I'd get used to them. I did. Totally. If they were mid-mount? Anyone with inseams longer than 26" would hate them. I'm 5'9" with a 30" inseam. This bike feels custom made for me! My hips would kill me with mids. I love stripping the mini wing and bags off for a naked look. I understood going in that this would be no Sportster S. It would also not be an Ultra Glide. It's neither. But it's both! I would try giving it a bit of time. Really. It fits you well.

I have the 20201/2 CVO RG and I love it a really small car is a good description I put the Ohlins on the back and changed the bars and a few other things its a good ride and hard to explain just how great the ride is you just have to ride one for yourself 2 days a week

The Road Glide is excellent! As I might have mentioned, had mine on a track for a day. It was really good for a bike it's size. Frame, suspension, engine all made it a good bike riding it hard.

Meg you always said you are comfortable with standard pegs. You are the right height for standard pegs. Stick with what you are comfortable with. As for the CVO road glide it’s the Hottest new bike Harley Davidson has now. No wonder Camera Man liked it so much. Maybe he’s considering one one day . Good luck to you Camera Man. My 17 rg is a 107 I like it new technology is great .my 03 rg doesn't have abs technology.These newer bikes I appreciate all the improvements. Megan making two videos a week has to wear on you two.i like two but do what works for you. A good review. I like that you point the nuances and having someone film you gives an idea of the bars and such and perhaps what would need to be changed. I went with a heritage over the sport glide as I wanted the soft tail frame and the ability to take of the bags and windscreen and have a deluxe. A bike that’s more nimble and is fine for weekend rides. The next bike I will add will be a road glide and will be for two up touring. To have two bikes as similar as a sport and road glide seemed redundant

Meg loving seeing and watching you and cameraman do different things. If you can go to a Indian demo ride, you need to try out the new 2022 Indian Chief Dark Horse. It has a 116 Thunderstroke engine. It also has three riding modes, tourning mode, Standard mode and Sport mode. Have the people to show you how to change the riding modes and try all three modes. the Sport mode is the WOW mode. Cameraman I think would like the Challeger motorcycle. It also has the three riding modes that you can change while riding. I have a 2022 Indian Chief Dark Horse that I love. It comes with Mid controls which you will like. The motorcycle comes with Drag handle bars. I put reduce reach handle bars on mine which makes you sit up more straight. Also the Chief comes in a smoke Ruby Red smoke color that is beautiful. Great channel and I like two videos a week. But I do understand business and job comes first. Happy and Safe riding. I originally shopped the Sport Glide before I settled on the Street Glide S. Now that the Sport Glide has the paint matched saddle bags, it looks like a totally different bike. Much better now. It looks great going down the road. The CVO’s are beautiful, but that’s too much $ for me.

I bought a Heritage Softtail Classic without realizing that I can't run to the store for a gallon of milk or a case of beer/pop. Kind of inconvenient to run to the store and find out that the bags are a little to small. Other than that I think you would like the Heritage Softtail Classic with 114. As always you look marvelous.

I like dynas, but the sport glide comes with detachable bags , the faring is not a road bike fairing , the dyna has a isolated engine and trans. less vibration .

Like other comments mentioned , you can order the bike with mid controls for yourself and since you ride so far and so often , having some luggage space would be a major plus for you. It’s a big decision I know you’ll figure it out sometime.

Meg and Cameron, first time watching but i have this beg! Get your bike serviced especially the brakes. It could be as simple as bleeding air out of the lines or checking the fluid level. Every rider NEEDS to do checks on their bikes prior to riding. Hoka Hey

Hey Meg , is your seat leather or synthetic ? If it's synthetic " vinyl " the original formula 409 cleaner with make it look brand new !! Just get you some and keep a little spray bottle and and a shop rag in your side bag , and when your seat looks a little dirty , spray it down and wipe it off , and Voila!!!! I used to use it on white leather tennis shoes and it was the only thing that would make them look as good as new!!! Now back to the video 😉 Oh and , Damn girl , you be giving my eyes a serious workout 😁Whew!!!
