The best part of Christmas or any holiday for me is having the whole family get together. We’re all so busy with work and kids etc so to all get together for a few hours is just heavenly. 🥰❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I live in Sweden and we celebrate on christmas eve the 24th. When I was a kid I loved waking up and coming down to the kitchen/living room area, where everything was cosy and decorated and my mom had made our traditional christmas eve breakfast. The smell of hot choco, christmas bread and hugging my mom will forever be in my heart. I wish you and your family a fantastic holiday ❤️🎄

Our family tradition- throughout the year everyone writes down on a piece of paper events that happened, vacations, funny memories, milestones, etc and then sometime throughout the holidays we all sit down and pick each paper out of the jar and read aloud. It’s so much fun ❤️

My husband comes from a family of 11 kids and we have a huge Christmas Eve party at his sisters’s every year! Santa comes and brings a present for each kid and everyone brings food and it’s just so much fun. I love all the cousins running around and playing together, the chaos brings me so much happiness! Unfortunately my family was sick this year so we couldn’t attend and Christmas just wasn’t the same lol. I hope y’all had a wonderful Christmas! :)

My home country battling with one of the worst floods in years. The disaster was devastating. The recovery from the event is going to be another story in itself. A lot of things need to throw away and clean. And this really motivated me.

Oh, best tradition. The entire time before christmas (we celebreate on the 24th). Putting up ”adventsljusstaken” at the first of advent, and light candles every single day, shopping christmas gifts… well everything. Once santa popped in its pretty much over… Merry christmas my sweetest Joanna ❤️ thank you for another amazing year ❤️

My dad passed from covid in 2020. He played santa for 30 years in our community. Every year him and were sooo excited for christmas ! Last year just wasn't the same. But this year we have been going all out to get the christmas spirit back. Dad and I's favorite christmas tradition would be to get as many of our family members together and go "christmas light looking " . I miss him amd miss his christmas spirit. It will get easier every year I'm sure though. Another favorite is our christmas eve boxes. Pj's, popcorn. hot cocoa. And a movie ♡♡♡

When I was a kid I remember me and my brothers would go with Dad to cut down a real tree in the woods a little ways from pur house and bring it home and set it up and decorate it. I also remember on Christmas Eve we would all get together at my Great Grandmas house and sing and they would go through each of us and say what we are thankful for and she would read the Christmas story in the Bible and we just be together ❤. Those are my favorite memories I remember. She is not here anymore. She was the glue that held multiple families together ❤

Since I am Northern European, we celebrate Yule and the Winter Solstice is important. On this day we all wake up early to watch to day begin and then have a family breakfast. We would go to the local woods and collect a piece of wood that had fallen off the tree, we never cut it down or cut a tree to get it. This is what we lite in the fire when the Solstice came. I loved and still love the magical feeling of this. Happy Christmas, or in Gaelic, Nollaig Shona to everyone and may 2022 bless you all with an abundance of good health, love and luck.

So, when my grandparents were alive it was always a big tradition for all of the aunts, uncles, cousins, kids, everyone to get together at my grandparents’ house for dinner, gifts, and silly games. Even after they passed, my aunt who inherited their home, has kept that tradition alive. Now all of my cousins are grown, married, and having their own families. It’s such a joy to see them all!! ❤️

Favourite tradition: Midnight Mass, (9.00pm in Ireland); the entire family, mine and my husband’s meet for Mass, including the babies and toddlers. After we go to my parents for hot chocolate and cake, and the children (26 last count) get stocking from Granny and Granddad. Get home about 11.30pm, with sleeping children, and get ready for Santa to visit! One year, I’ll catch him!

I love seeing the family and doing a very simple Christmas dinner, we usually have a BBQ and put on some music and just dance around with the grandkids it's something we do every year and I just love it, as it's summer here in Australia we also jump in the pool and play games it's not a tradition but then again we do it every year and my grandkids love it and that's what it's all about seeing them so happy. I'm so glad you're taking some time off for family it's very important to do that good on you girl lol I look forward to watching more videos and paintings of your bathroom's in the new year so in saying that, I wish you and your beautiful family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy & Safe New Year may the good Lord continue to bless you, your family & channel and see you next year LOL xxx

One of my favorite childhood Christmas memory was ChristmasEve with my dads family, after our meal and before opening presents my grandpa would read the story of Jesus’ birth.
