imo it wasnt that bad, but comparing MIB jumping the 90s-2000s theme with Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones to MIB4 was jarring and it felt more like an action film where the comedy didnt stick out that well. Its real flaws were not giving too much background into some pretty cool villans and agent H not getting more nuanced tragedy to show off why the character is so goofy. Otherwise if we never got a MIB and the first movie was released today with modern CGI; the movie wouldve been never considered for a sequel.
