My opinions on the pre-existing Pokemon megas and Mazah Pokemon megas: MAZAH POKEMON Beakraft - if a Pokemon with more than one form gets a unique mega for both forms, it’s super unique Mazian Roserade - elegant af Lupacabra - beefy Zolupine - sleek and love how it looks to be preparing an Aura Sphere with its hand tails Specterzal - beautiful and, while it is not a fossil mon (as confirmed by Jack), I much prefer this as a mega for a pterosaur compared to Aerodactyl’s PRE-EXISTING POKEMON (all of these were basically deserving for the sake of these mons being stronger and/or more popular) Chimecho - desperately needed Golurk - love the green energy and acknowledging that Golurk can already fly Frosmoth - love the colors! Cacturne - badass and necessary if Maractus gets a regional variant in this game (love those two) Hawlucha - really fun! Hawlucha is already a great single stage, but always wondered if it could go further still Trevenant - hell yes!! I love Trevenant! It is still menacing and continues to be protective of the forest! Macargo - hilarious and necessary Steel type Beeheeyem - so otherworldly, I love it (I always had a soft spot for Elgeeyem but not too much for Beeheeyem) Not a single one I dislike! Excellent work to everyone!

Mega Frosmoth looks amazing, the only worry I have is how is it going to get a Fire type STAB move. The only one I can think of that would fit is Heat Wave, since it always have been more of a hot air move than a straight up fire.

Incredible work to everyone who worked on this, and thanks to Jack for inspiring such an incredible community of artists! The Mazah region and its Fakemon have to be the greatest Pokemon designs i have ever seen, and i adore all the hard work this whole community and dev team have out into this project; I am SO excited to play some version of it, no matter how long it takes to get there in the end, please dev team, your work is incredibly meaningful and inspiring to so many people in this niche youtube/artist hub, if you had any doubts about your impact or nerves on development time, take all time yall need im certain that the product of your combined love will be absolutely worth it. Regenerator is a cool ability for Magcargo, but I think Mega Launcher would be a REALLY cool ability for it based on how it needs to constantly shoot lava from its shell!

Yeah I thought about that but my man gets like 0 pulse moves! And even Artillerist, the ability the team gave to Gastronaut that buffs projectile/ball moves (the ones blocked by Bulletproof) doesn't get much use for Cargo cause it gets few of them and mostly physical like rock blast/gyro ball. It would need a complete moveset overhaul and most don't even make sense on it sadly!

I definitely think that mega cacturne should have had Quick Draw as an ability instead of sand rush, it fits the wild west gunslinger aesthetic so much better and would be much more useful in a variety of situations (especially with it's lackluster speed stat)

We had no good sand mons, and a grass sand mon is a cool niche. QD was a thought tho. 75 speed with weather boosting ability isn't that bad, many mons probably need scarf to beat that, especially in Mazah where the powercreep isn't as overwhelming as we have it in gen 9.

I don't enjoy when Pokémon lose parts of their design upon evolution, so the last Mega was my least favorite considering it loses limbs from its former common form. I feel like for the mega’s with a type change, shouldn’t they get a pixelate or refrigerate alternative, eg for chimecho, give them a steel type version to change normal moves to steel. Especially for mega frosmoth, which i doubt learns any fire type moves

There will be concept art for them all right? I enjoy the human characters as much as the Pokemon, but they shouldn't overshadow crucial individuals like the gym leaders and other important characters.

I was checking the Mahzian Dex & was reminded that Mahzian Meowth & Persian are Fighting type, & they being Super-Effective against all official Meowth forms fits quite well with the new Convergent Pkmn concept. As both Pumas (Persian) & Jaguars (M. Persian) hunt in the Americas, & the fact that Pumas are closely related to house cats, while Jaguars are big cats of the genus Panthera, there's a lot there if you want to play with this convergence. Pumas can meow, but panthers can't.

I would wonder if mega Hawlucha is served better from subtracting instead of adding. His original form and the current mega give much more Ring entrance vibes, so a mega that that plucks him but makes him super buff and reveals only a masked beak and feathered pants ( think nacho libre, but buff) would show more of his ready for action in-ring ability. Almost like mega energy made him so buff that it forcibly plucked all of his feathers in a big explosion.
