Just think, Mario travels to the Mara boss fight in Persona 5 Strikers, or the icon of sin fight in Doom Eternal, or get chased down by a guardian in Breath of the Wild

Idea: Extremely Adjustable Thwomps. Now, you can set the exact direction they can go, in a 360 degree radius! Now you can have a Thwomp that's going 236 degrees! Combined with Snake Thwomps, this will be extremely fun! Not only that, but you can now adjust the range that the Thwomps can see you in! Now you can have a Thwomp that can see you from all the way across the level! That's not all! You can now set the speed of Thwomps, anywhere from 1mph to the speed of light! Now you can have a sideways thwomp that going at the speed of light, seeing you from all the way across the level!

Idea: Snake spikes They look like the normal spike enemies, but you can drag a path to determine where the spike balls will end up. Hopefully, not in mario’s face. They can also be given mushrooms, meaning more big, less predictable spike balls are thrown. That won’t upset anyone. Finally, the spike balls explode at the end of their path. Perfect for any level

Now introducing... ghost floor! It looks just like a normal ground tile, but when you step on it you get a heart-dropping surprise! Literally! The ground will immediately vanish into thin air, and Mario will possibly gain a couple concussions from whatever is under him... OR OVER HIM (transition) With the new gravity block! It can go in 8 directions! Making Mario fly to the left! Right! Up! And down! And every diagonal as well!! Mario and co. will have a head-spinningly fun adventure with these new items!

Creative Mode: In Mario Party, there is a practice mode where it just won't count. But in mario maker 2, any level you can just press creative mode, and Zoom out, look at the level design, reskin stuff and become godmode to have unlimited invunerability frames and hacks to fly and noclip through the level like debug mode, and it has similar to the "Call Luigi" feature in story mode, but you place, remove and change absolutely anything, winning it this way won't count as anything, but you will then be alerted for any sudden trolls, and Kaizo blocks, where to land on offscreen thwomps, and that, so you know exactly how to win it when you actually play it, and don't have to waste the first clear for everybody, on a sloppy run, nor waste your own time. And if you know the level is gonna be too hard even after getting a good preglance, you can just boo and skip the level and warn people without lowering the clear rate.

Rejected update for episode 22 Sumo Bro: this boom boom look like will raise down fire in SMB, SMB3 & SMW & will raise down electricity in NSMBU & SM3DW, they do this by simply stomping on the grounds, the stomp also shocks Mario, Luigi, Toad & Toadette, others like Morton & Bowser Junior, the Sumo Bro is hard to defeat because of the cone-shaped spike on it’s head The way to defeat them I by using different power-ups or use the question blocks that you’ll place them on, the original sized version takes 1 hit but the mushroom sized version takes 3, the Sumo Bro has no spikes on it’s black buzzy beetle shell & it also wears brown shoes with 0% laces, after the mushroom sized version gets hit once or twice he gets back up.

rejected update: to prevent rage quitting you can no longer leave the game or level you're on until you beat it. Even restarting your switch will just bring you back to where you left off. if you put in a different game it will still be mario maker 2. If you get a new switch it will detect your finger prints and take you straight to mario maker 2
