With all these changes, I hope that governments will pass legislation to protect the historic Georgian structures. If I were mayor, I would also require all new construction to adhere to gothic or Georgian art deco architecture, and I would not permit modernist architecture which I detest to be built in Kingston. More Georgian buildings would add a little diversity to Kingston, as the city's downtown Georgian buildings currently serve as a model for similar constructions. Kingston's heritage, which not many people are aware of, should be reflected in the city rather than the lifeless, boring architecture that permeates most North American cities and is dependent on cars.

They need to make sure downtown stop looking like garbage heap. And have strict vending laws, i notice the samething happening in downtown is slowly start to happen in halfway tree.

Exactly, its not only down but many city in Jamaica are actually very dirty. Stop the stigma.
