Guards do counter valk btw, if you place them directly in front of her then only the first one is targeted, if you place them at a certain angle, the valk has to use 6 attacks to kill all guards, by then she's pretty much dead

most of the card options were the same through every battle... with the amount of cards in the game, there shouldnt be the same cards showing up almost every time.

well its kind've just random chance that they would show up so often, unless rates are adjusted or something

Well the draft has 36 options so there's about a 1/3 chance that any one card appears in the draft. However I imagine that there are systems in place to make sure certain types of cards are always available. Like a rule that makes sure there are more than 3 spells or 3 buildings. I'm sure there would be a similar thing for win cons, hence why skeleton barrel showed up so much. When I played the challenge I experienced the same thing with royal hogs. They appeared nearly every time and I won easily by doing the same thing as OJ by picking all the hard counters.
