Dwarf was my favourite character. I loved playing this game with my friends on easy mode, then the very last boss we would spam the summon potions to see how high we could get the boss in the air before he died.😂

I use to play this religiously on the Megadrive in the early 90s!! Loved riding those little dragons!! 🐉🐉🔥🔥The Megadrive version was the best!! Especially as you could enter the castle at the end (where as in the arcade version you couldn't..) !! Great memories!!

My bro still has this game on the Sega Six Pack cartridge on his Sega Genesis. Both a fun and funny game because of the sound effect when you and the enemy slash each other, lol. The game did have an unintended (I think) effect. Its when you stand a certain distance from the enemy while they’re attacking you and if you get caught in it, you’ll be stuck during the slash attack animation and literally cannot move until you die or something or someone else interrupts the attacker.

sadly Sega Genesis/Mega Drive Golden Axe deserved however didn’t get a better port (version) with a bigger cartridge 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 megabits
