A longplay of Tiny Toon Adventures: Busters Hidden Treasure is the first Tiny Toon Adventures-based game released on the Mega Drive/Genesis. It was released in 1993 and developed and published by Konami.
Buster Bunny's mission in this game is to trace down and defeat Montana Max, who has stolen and hidden some treasure and rescue Babs Bunny. Many foes are in the way, including Roderick Rat and Gene Splicer, who has brainwashed several of Buster's friends, including Plucky Duck, Hamton J. Pig, Dizzy Devil and Calamity Coyote. Upon defeating Gene, the helmet controlling Buster's friends will fall off and explode, leaving them dazed or to fall down in a comical fashion (in the case of Calamity Coyote).
To complete each level, Buster must find Gogo Dodo, who will allow him to enter a portal. Additionally, Buster can find portals reminiscent of the show's rainbow-coloured logo, that will take Buster into Wackyland in the form of a bonus level. Here, Buster must attempt to collect as many items as he can before touching one of the numerous Dodos that populate the level.

Buster's Hidden Treasure is one of the greatest 2D platformers ever in its own right - and Sonic 3 is my favourite game ever. I thought this game was lauded critically though. A better comparison to me would be Super Mario World but much faster and more challenging.

This was actually a really solid platformer, with excellent music to boot. Cousin of mine owned it, I played it a lot at his house. We'd always make a joke about Buster beating the shit out of Gogo Dodo after he leaped in at the end of a level.

@@freddyvidz As someone who owns both games, I'd say the SNES one has the better overall presentation, but both are solid platformers worth playing and having fun with. There is one issue with the Genesis version, it feels a little too cookie cutter, and a lot of Genesis fans compare it to the Sonic games unfairly.

I played this game and I watched the TV series. Tiny Toon Adventures won 7 Emmy Awards, that's quite of achievement and you gotta love Steven Spielberg, he did an amazing job. He deserved to be called an Icon

I just beat this game, so frustrating, I'll never play it again, there's so many moves that long play does that I could never figure out, multiple wall jumps on the same wall, tried for 30 mins straight, over and over, every button combination possible, couldn't do it, your jump is awkward, it's very quick and makes timing hard to jump on enemies, the boss levels were way easy for some reason, Its a strange game, I'm shocked it's a Konami game, it looks great, good music but the control is just so strange, it took me 3 hours to beat it and I still don't know how to control the darn rabbit lol.
