HI Brandy, I found you about 3 days ago. I love you! I have been watching everything but Halloween is my favorite. You are encouraging me to start crafting again. I understand you have had major changes in your home and we have been dealing with some family stuff for 2 years and my awesome daughter in law is now a single mom. We have other major changes in our household with kids moving out and elderly mother in law moving in. I have forgotten how to do stuff to make ME happy but I am getting there. In case you’re interested, the awl in the basket making kit is used to make a space in the basket material to push the binding material (raffia, cording, etc) through. Also, as a witch myself, I appreciate your comment about not all witches being bad.

I went to our Dollar Tree and had a ball! I got a bunch of supplies to make some of the things you’ve inspired me to do. They didn’t have everything, but I’m going to hit the Michael’s & Joann stores. Joann has ribbon & what not at 50% off! I’m very excited to get busy. Brandy, I love the projects you do and I get a lot of inspiration from what you do. I have a couple of the tea lights you put in the plastic pumpkins, but I never really like how stark white the light is. I never would have thought to paint the tip to warm up the light. I know I'll be doing that to mine. I just wish they had made that particular tealight a timer one. It would save on having to open the pumpkin to turn it off.

I ❤ Black Cats! I did our main bathroom in Black cats last year for Halloween. My favorite thing was a gallery wall I put together of vintage looking black cat Halloween cards. I used clay/ resin molds to make the frames more fancy. Do you ever use Iron Orchid Designs or Redesign with Prima products? Decoupage Queen also has some beautiful fall/ Halloween papers this year 😊

Thanks Mickey! I wrap them in a wet wipe until I am finished working, then rinse them in hot water before washing them with a drop of Dawn and rinsing well. Then I gently press out the bristles in their intended shape, place them standing on a clean dry towel. They are dry are ready to use the next day. Hope this helps!

Oh, I forget to ask in my previous comment, could you ever use costume jewelry for your crafting? I have tons that I have purchased from goodwill, and I am at critical mass with my storage. I don’t want to overwhelm you with stuff especially if you are going through a move. Here in metro east illinois by St.louis Missouri we do not have goodwill stores with the kind of items you get. Also the Dollar Tree stores do not have the same holloween or other holiday items as states, I have determined. I enjoy your crafting ideas very much. I made a swag from $ store trees that is vintage style I think you would like. Can pictures be sent to you? I am NOT very knowable using electronic devices.
