Fun fact: Capcom thought Western players couldnt handle the difficulty so they made this "normal" mode which basically doubles the damage of every weapon. "Difficult" is the default Mode in the original game.

Way to go on the run. My friends and I used to try and beat all the starting bosses with only regular mega man as a challenge in the late 90s. and your right , the soundtrack is great

I always like seeing what order people do Mega Man games. This is one of the games I've played the most in my life. I do Bubble and Wood first. Just playing casually, without any skips or glitches or anything, if I get a good run I can do 45 minutes.

speedrunners never do metal man first because the most important goal is getting items 1-3. flashman comes first because nothing can speed up his stage. metal man's blades are good for metal man redux and bubble man only.

You need item 1-3 for zips and shorter routes

⁠@@ssl3546 there’s 2 routes people usually take, both with Flash Man first. People can either do Air Man 2nd or Heat Man 2nd. What’s great about Flash Man first isn’t just that nothing speeds up his stage, it’s also that you get both Flash weapon and Item-3. If you go Air 2nd, you use Flash weapon to stop time at the beginning platform section of the stage. If you go Heat 2nd, you get Item-3 for the zips. Awfully convenient, Flash first is undeniably the strat. If you’re curious, Heat 2nd is faster by ~10 seconds, but is much harder because of the platforming you have to do in the first half of Air Man stage.

Lead bubble kills heat man in two bubbles… why use base Megaman here? Also Leaf Shield works on Air Man.
