Now Here's how this stage should have gone. Imagine this music playing, but the intro stage is set at night, wily has gone off the deep end and ordered his robots to completely destroy monsteroplois as revenge for his incarceration. The city is burning to the ground, as the clouds above glow a hellish red. Megaman traverses the hellscape in shock and horror, as he arrives on that buggy and this takes on the utter sense of desperation and absolute carnage this stage deserved. The stage opens as the buggy rides down the devastated streets. Auto: "Rock, the city is in chaos! Light went to the prison to try and reason with Wily to stop this madness. But he hasn't been heard from since." Rock: " The city, its people... I should have dealt with Wily when I had the chance! I caused this...by letting..." Roll: "Enough! You did what was right! And thts all that matters." Rock: "Thanks roll. I'm sorry. It's just there's so much suffering...." Auto: "Rock! The road ahead is becoming too unstable, the carrier won't make it ant further." Rock: "It's ok Auto. I can go on alone from here." Auto: "Rock. You must be careful! The reports say there are at least 4 powerful robot masters rampaging the city, along side that city destroying mega robot! Plus there are rumors af a fifth unknown robot whos intentions are as of yet unknown." Rock: "I'm not worried, I've dealt with Wilys minons many times before....their all the same." Roll: "Rock...your power armor is very weak from your last battle with Wily. I and Dr.Cossack made what hasty repairs we could.... but I truly don't know how much more punishment it can take." Auto: "Thats right, Dr. Light and Roll haven't had time to complete Rushes new armor rebuild. But on the bright side, I managed to restore a few of the old robot master weapons for you! Though use them strategically, as their power core is nearly exhausted. Rock: Thank you both. Auto: ROCK LOOK! (The three watch as 4 entities beam into the prison and shortly after it explodes!) Roll: "DR.LIGHT! NOOOOO! " (Rock gets an angry look on him as he charges his armor in rage.) Auto: "Rock. Roll. A message is filtering through my transceiver! Its Dr. Light!" Light: "Rock... If you can hear me.... I am alive! Beat used his emergency teleporter at the last second, to help me escape! We were surrounded. Wily is beyond any hope of sanity I am afraid. I am somewhere in the down town of the city. I fear the worst of beat as he did not follow. Do what needs to be done my son. I cannot justify this madness any longer." Rock: "I'm coming for you Dr. Light!!! Roll will you be safe?" Roll: "Rock, I've got your Mark I buster now (Roll shoots down a swooping batton) ... I can take care of myself Brother...GO!!!" Auto: "She's a live wire, I won't let her blink out megman." (He hands Rock his helmet and he activates his old rush power armor) (READY!!!) (Rock traverses the city, as one by one the first 4 robot masters appear as black shades with glowing yellow eyes as each one destroys a building or attacks rock directly creating crumbling buildings, or direct damage to him as he fights brief battles with them but never beats them, slowly weakening him until he reaches the city center and finds Dr. Light bloodied and broken. Rock: "DR. LIGHT!!!" Light: "Rock..." Rock: "Save your strength. I'll call Roll and Auto to come for you." Light: " Rock...Listen. Dr. Wily... Albert. He's completely lost his mind. Through all these years I truly believed the he could be reached. That his psychosis could be helped and his mind recovered. I wanted to believe their was a man left beneath all of that metal and machinery he surrounded himself with. But no. Rock... the man I knew... The Brilliant mind who helped create you, my son, is gone. Now only madness reigns unchecked. Rock...you must stop him, at any cost, before he does something truly un speakable. Please." Rock: " I know..." (Radio break in.) Dr. Cossack: "Rock! We have managed to get a lock on Dr. Light. I will beam him out of the city back to the base. Worry not my blue friend, he will be safe. Also, I am unable to detect Beats signal... I dread that he was lost in the explosion..." Rock: "I got it Doctor. Get Dr. Light out of here, he's badly wounded. I'm going to clear out the city and put a stop to this madness no matter the cost, over." Cossack: "Received. Initiating Dr.Lights Teleportation now!" Light: "Rock. Please....(as he beams out) ... be careful.... (Rock reaches the city destroyer, a 5 story tall juggernaught which requires the use of the mm6 jet armor to defeat to fly between platforms, but results in the jet armors destruction, leaving only the rapidly fading power armor.) (One final mystery robotmaster attack and we reach the bass battle.) (Bass decends like an avenging angle, without mercy or warning. His attacks are fierce and dynamic. He darts around megaman, who is weighed down by his heavy armor. Megaman manages to get a couple of hits in using the hyper charge and a few cheap shots from the old mm6 weapons but in the end Bass systematically dysmantles megaman untill hes a collpased smoldering wreck. Broken and defeated.) Bass: "So... YOUR supposed to be the LENGENDARY Megaman... I am not impressed. I stood in for you, at first, during your absence after your brutal take down of that bastard Wily, cleaning up the entrails, and I did so out of a sense of respect and admiration. But Now..... I see the sad truth. Your time is at an end Megaman. My name is Bass, and the time has come for me to claim the mantle of the true hero of this world. It's time for you retire .) (Megaman, fed up and angry, gets off one Final hyper shot at bass who then shoots back at him, completely destroying the power armor, leaving Rock on the ground in his base form, as bass screams back..) Bass: "STAY DOWN! I'm not here to kill you, but I won't let your failures carry on any longer! Good bye Megaman, For your sake... STAY OUT OF MY WAY!" (As Bass teleports, Megaman staggers to his feet and beams away bewildered and broken.) End of intro stage. Thoughts?!

Started listening for the first 30 seconds... Not bad not bad... 45 seconds in and it's getting kooler : ) 1 min in and a sick solo! NICE! And mega man is right. BASS is sick in this track lol. Just added it to my game music playlist. Thank you!

Ok, so *Spring Man* was far from the most brilliant idea, for a Boss... good point :) .. yet he is still better then *Steve From Accounting Man, ... Invoices ! The intro stage has probably the longest ingame cutscene in the Megaman series. It's nice and all but a bitch on replays.

U had a fear of steamrollers and giant fire breathing war machine robots... or perhaps an irrational fear of Tanks/ Heavy Infantry. Flattening your city into a new mausoleum. A more common fear, then u think. They let me keep this comment, because they hate me
