Just accomplished this as my first time beating the boss rush. I usually lost most of my lives at Gamma because of the Joes, but using Dive Wave as you did really helped. I just happened to perform the rest of the rush really well. Thanks for the tip!

The evil robot battle is my favourite fight in the whole series, followed by Sunstar and Eclipse

I kind of want some help with something, if that's fine. I'm trying to figure out how I can get rid of the pause lag that happens whenever I use OpenGL, specifically during the cutscenes, which the game will pause for a few seconds, resume for a second, rinse and repeat. Do you remember what you set your OpenGL settings to in MM8BDM? Because that may help me fix the issue.

Well, I never touch the OpenGL settings, I just change some of the controls and the resolution but that's all I do. Do you get this bug just on OpenGL? What if you go to the launcher and change the "video renderer" to Software on the configuration tab? (It will disable Render Voxels) If it works, you can use it like a temporary solution until you find what the real problem is.

@@ruanzinhodj The configuration settings for me, it's always on Software. But need to see if there's a way to get the same stuff in OpenGL, like making the camera move up and down in 3D instead of the view being weird. The Guts Tank's full top sprite was shown instead of keeping the half part if the tank model is in range.

@@soullessofzero1010 I tested it now on software mode and yes, it really looks weird. It's the same on Sonic Robo Blast 2 (My Pc can't run well OpenGL on some stages). That's how the camera works on software mode and I don't think we can change it, and you can't play the Mega Shark boss either, it's OpenGL only.

@@ruanzinhodj I see. Well, hopefully we'll find the issue on what's causing the pause lag on OpenGL. In the video, you were using OpenGL, so I may need further investigation before the issue could be resolved.

I feel like it'd be interesting to see a version of boss rush, but it's just all of the robot masters in the same format as the Robot Master fights leading up to Gamma in story mode.

uh... how do you "staid" in the boss rush? i mean, when i played for the first time the boss rush ended on gamma, and it even had the credits and cutscenes, how did you keep going?

Did you play the game until the v6 end credits? Or maybe you're playing on a older version of the game? I Just completed the game normally and then went to the Boss Rush Teleporter.

I can beat all the bosses consistently until Gamma, but he is also pretty easy unless the RNG goes for ground laser spam. My biggest problem is that dreaded Bass fight. He is so annoying and easy to mess up. I lost my 3 lifes on him once and just can't defeat him consistently. He should really approach slower, his approach speed is really absurd. Evil Robot is also fine as long as he doesn't combo G.Ice Wave with something dangerous such as G. Flame Sword or G. Flash Bomb in the 3 last cycles. The only other boss that could give me trouble is the C13 boss, but I'm pretty sure I can defeat it with 3 lives. Bass, on the other hand...

Gamma and Evil Robot are easy when you figure out their patterns and know what are the best weapons to use on Gamma, but Bass is on another level, I lost to him more than sunstar. Sometimes you lose because of the RNG like that charge-slide attack on his First fase and the vertical laser on the Second fase, I was really luck to dodge that attack and I still don't know how I did It.

@@ruanzinhodj Hey, somebody that agrees with me! I really don't know how to deal with Gamma's laser and Ice Wave+something consistently, but it's still not always happening. Bass just kicks my ass all the time, specially in the first form. Edit: For the sweeping laser in Super Bass you only need to react and go straight sideways. I don't know how to deal with Crescent Kick, tho. Even in Weapon Archive that attack is insanely hard to deal with. Bass canalha demais mané

@@uandresbrito5685I don't know If this will help but go to the stage select in Light's lab and select the Bass Boss battle. After the battle starts, you pause the game and create a save state. (and create a cool name for your save state like for example "Bass Canalha" lol) If you die, you just automatically restart the last checkpoint but If you win and still want to learn more about his moves, just pause the game and load your save state.

@@ruanzinhodj I used to train manually(if win, reset into Lab if I lose, just go on), but this seems much quicker, thank you. I actually improved my strategies against him, but Evil Robot's RNG ruined 3 runs back to back(always Ice Wave or Thunder Claw), so I just cheated the boss rush. I got every other trophy in the game legitimately anyways.

@@uandresbrito5685 Do you go up and down on the evil robot arena using your camera (look up do go up and look down to go down), or do you use the "fly/swim up" and "fly/swim down" buttons? Using the fly/swim buttons is way faster do dodge verically. Ice Wave is really hard to dodge, I was lucky that it didn't pop up during the fight. The way that I dodge it (sometimes) is to go to the upper corner of the map and charge my attack, when it start spawning the ice you shoot it with the charged shoot (this will give you more room) and then circle around it while going down (fly/swim down). Thunder Clow: Get away from him quickly and then you have to use to fly up/down buttons depending on where you are at the moment to get a better chance of avoiding it while getting away from the boss. You can see how I dodge it at 20:30 . It is better to go all the way up before he attacks ,wait for him to go up as well and then go all the way down.

Creo que "missing error" significa que no te enfrentaste / derrotaste a uno de los jefes secretos del juego. Para acceder al jefe secreto del Bass, debes derrotarlo solo con el buster normal. no uses el Super Adaptor en la batalla.
