What happens after the "thank you" screen? My game crashes before the credits...

They aren't. The count started at DWN#59 instead of #57 for some reason.

I have a theory about why the voice acting was so bad in Mega Man 8. Capcom had never done any video games with spoken dialogue before, and it wasn't until they got into the hang of things when they actually improved voice acting for video game characters. Correct me if I'm wrong.
