My personal favorites from the Classic, X & Zero/ZX series are as follows: Classic: Mega Man 4 (Game Boy). Probably the most intimidating boss theme in any Mega Man game. X: Tie between Neo Sigma Phase 1 (who I call Drip Sigma) and Hell Sigma Phase 2. Both awesome final boss themes in their own right. However, bonus points go to the first phase of X2's final boss fight for Sigma's dialogue before the fight begins. Zero/ZX: Cannon Ball & the Hard Revenge version of it easily.

Mega Man 8 technically has both the PS1 and Saturn versions of the final boss themes, but any normal person might not notice the difference unless you're like me who's heard them a hundred times haha.

My Favorites of each era Classic: Wily Machine 6/Sunstar (tied) X: Hell Sigma (X6 may not be a good game, but the Hell Sigma theme is really good) Zero/ZX: Omega Zero (Come on, Cannon Ball is way too good) Battle Network: Alpha (Final battle against the prototype of the internet itself, theme fits all too well, especially since 3 was meant to be the final game in the series) Star Force: Crimson Dragon (Great climactic finale capping off the Star Force story) Legends: Mega Man Juno Phase 1 (Gotta love classical music)

for me and my Zero/ZX picks i'd say i'm evenly split between Cannonball, Falling Down and Soul Ablaze all of them are great and for Classic i agree with Sunstar and Wily 6, but i also really love Wily 7 (both themes) and Wily 11 (also both)

Hell Sigma's my favorite, it's intense without having much pressure in the feel it gives off, it's just fun even though rather climactic rather than some of the heavier stuff like Lumine 2nd. I also like the MM5 one a lot for the same reason.

My top 5 best mega man final boss themes : 5 : Willy machine 11 (mega man 11) Most classic mega man games don't have really have memorable final boss themes, however, Willy machine 11 is one of the exceptions. 4 : Cannonball (Omega phase 3) (mega man Zero 3) Pretty good final boss theme but a bit too short and don't really sounds all that climatic. 3 : falling down (Dr Weil phase 2) (mega man Zero 4) Now THAT feels like a final battle, Its intense, climatic and really show that you MUST STOP WEIL BEFORE HE DESTROYS NEO ARCADIA. 2 : Lumine phase 2 (mega man X8) Used to be my number 1 but now that I've heard some others mega man final boss themes, it's one place lower. Funny how Lumine always ends up in second place when it come to the best mega man final bosses or final boss themes. Honorable mentions : Willy machine 7 (mega man 7) A catchy music Earth sigma & Gunner Sigma and final Sigma W (mega man X4 and 5 respectively) 4 is pretty atmospheric and 5 sounds so climatic especially since 5 was supposed to be the final game in the series Nebula Grey (mega man battle network 5) My original number 5, sounds epic but a bit low in term of sound quality 1 : Crimson Dragon (mega man star force 3) That final boss theme is really EPIC, it's one of the best boss themes I have ever heard and there's really a climatic feeling in this music given star force 3 is the final game in the mega man star force series. Agree with your top 4 list I'll share mine 5. Crimson Dragon (Mega Man Star Force 3) I definitely like this final boss theme out of the rpg games in my opinion 4. Iron Wily Robo Golem (Mega Man GB4) The Gameboy has good music for 4&5 this is my favorite theme and it feels like the final battle 3. Omega Phase 2 (Mega Man Zero 3) honestly I prefer judgement day more than Cannonball it may be an unpopular opinion but it doesn't get talked about a lot 2. Lumine Phase 2 (Mega Man X8) agree with you as well fitting for one of my favorite final bosses in the series Honorable Mentions: Sigma Phase 1 (Mega Man X7), Sunstar (Mega Man GB5), Wily Machine 11 (Mega Man 11), Albert Phase 2 (Mega Man ZX Advent) Omega Phase 3 (Mega Man Zero 3), Duo.EXE (Mega Man Battle Network 4) 1. Dr. Weil Phase 2 (Mega Man Zero 4) EASILY MY FAVORITE FINAL BOSS THEME IN THE FRANCHISE and my favorite final boss ever made I love it so much even the remix does it justice.
