If you want something more realistic on that take, check Megaman Zero bosses being done incredibly fast, at much slighty more time needed to beat the bosses but it's actual in-game mechanics being used to the fullest rather than the game being messed up on glitches xD.

Rockman & Forte is an underrated gem of a game. I don't think I have to mention how good the graphics are. The production quality is off the charts. I'm grateful this game happened. Returning to the SNES was just chefs kiss.

If memory serves, the quick kill on Tengu Man will actually break the game - can't recall if it breaks Mega Man's ability to move or what, but it breaks something seriously enough that continuing is impossible. The reason it's okay to do when fighting him in his own stage is because completing the stage resolves that break. Since the Tengu Man refight doesn't trigger that stage-end, whatever breaks would not get fixed, so the TAS has to fight Tengu Man "legitimately" for the boss refights. Mind you, this is partially-remembered information, and I can't actually find the original source of it... I thought it was in submission notes on one of the R&F TASes, but it doesn't seem to be. I guess just take my explanation with a grain of salt, I may not have remembered something correctly (though I think I got the jist of it.)

Tip1: I would've reacted these tas all together, the Megaman and bass route in the same video. Well, maybe it would end in a looong video, but that's just my opinion. The forte run is so incredible. It's one of the best tas runs of any game I've watched. It has quite a few "fun for the audience" moment. Including a to the music boss fight

I debated not watching this because I haven't played it in 20 years and I figured I'd replay it first before seeing all the levels in details. And I did not regret watching it because all I saw was Megaman flying through walls for 20 minutes straight. I think we should wrap up Mega Man & Bass before moving out to MM9 so Bass Run and 100% Disc run.

Honestly I love King stage 2 and I am a bit disappointed that there are no more stages in Megaman, that continue for 2/3 bosses straight. Except the Gameboy Megaman games of course, but those have mostly way too many game over checkpoints in the middle. This stage truly feels like a Megaman endgame

It should be noted that Rockman and Forte is awesome, but Megaman and Bass (GBA) is hot garbage. It's functionally the same game, but the screen crop to make it fit on a GBA screen makes it absolutely atrocious.

People only hate Mega Man & Bass because of the bad GBA port? ... No. It's just a really badly designed game. The only thing the GBA port adds to the misery is screen crunch - the rest are present in the SNES Original. Atrocious level design, especially with Mega Man. No, Bass doesn't make it much better. Most of the Robot Masters are infamous without their Weakness, even some WITH their Weakness (Dynamo Man and Burner Man) Awful enemy placement. Yes, Auto can make Items that can make the game easier. Know what's the difference here? In every other game, you're entirely capable of beating the game without Auto making any items for you. Here, it's ESSENTIAL to have any chance of beating the game since there are no Energy Cans for no reason - that's bad design! Yes. Mega Man has Eddie, but more often than not he can screw you over (heh) by giving you Weapon Energy and Screws instead of Health. And Bass has no such thing. Bass can use the Treble Super Adaptor to fly over shit but it's terrible offensively. Meanwhile, Mega Man has no Rush Coil, no Rush Jet - pretty much nothing except Rush Search, which is useless in this game. THERE"S NO REASON FOR THEM TO BE SO LIMITED AT THIS POINT IN THE SERIES! AND DON'T GET ME STARTED ON THE KING STAGES! THE KAIZO TRAP IN STAGE 1! STAGE 2 BEING SO LONG FOR ABSOLUTELY NO REASON IT COULD'VE BEEN SPLIT INTO THREE STAGES! YOU BRING 9 LIVES INTO THIS SHITHOLE FOR A REASON - OTHERWISE YOU'RE STARTING THE ENTIRE STAGE ALL OVER AGAIN!
