For those curious about the weapon synergy between Copy Spark Mega Man and Copy Top Mega Man, the spark will freeze you in place so you can get Top Spinned more easily.

For those who are interested, MM3 castle was short almost surely because limited memory space was spent on the Doc-bot rematch levels. They simply didn't have the room back then to make a larger castle after that, or so I've heard...

M. Hannum It was also rushed out, and they didn't have time to finish the game. Originally, there was a level for each Doc Robot, and you would actually get the MM2 weapons from them.

Indeed. MM3 has various odd "ghosts" from development in it. The ability to press buttons on the second controller to get Megaman to jump much higher, slow down the game, and avoid dying was actually a set of debugging tools that was never removed from the game, for example.

M. Hannum Yeah. I think you can also see evidence of unfinished features throughout the game. For example, isn't it strange how Snake Man's level transitions from snake turrets to cloud platforms in the sky? Seems obvious that it was meant to become the Air Doc level.
