Mega Man Rebellion (Cancelled Project)

This is a thing I worked on for a bit at the end of last year, but had to ditch (along with pretty much everything else I signed up for, oh well) because of Sequel Wars.
Mega Man sprite made by Zedic0n ( / zedic0n ) and was used with permission.
Met sprite was based off the one used in Double Buster ( / mmdoublebuster .

This looks like a Megaman Fangame with potential. Maybe you can continue it after the Sequel Wars.

This is actually new and refreshing for the fan game scene. I hope this or something like this can come to fruition in the future. It's a nice mish-mash of several different Mega Man styles and while it initially threw me off, I quickly got used to the unique visual style. Just as a concept - it's great. Glad this video exists.

This looks like that missing link between MM7, MM8, and MM&B that would've made the ultimate Mega Man game. The metalls look a bit small but other than that, this looks... Absolutely freaking finished and perfect. Why was it cancelled?

The running looks way faster and stronger than the Megaman 8 running. Looks pretty cool tbh. The realistic sounds used here packs a punch, bud! Don't give up!

I see you brought back one of your old enemies in this, back in the sequel wars! and I have a feeling we’ll be seeing more of them soon in other EX stages. Especially the one in the anti-gravity segment

It's a shame that this got cancelled because this had the potential to being a unique Mega Man Fan game because almost all Mega Man Fan games nowadays just go 8-bit with 8-bit music and 8-bit graphic and all the fan games can just blend in time to time I don't know almost all of that feels the same but thankfully the sequel Wars break the 8-bit curse

Heyyy, Cossack 3 Boss, this looks spectacular, Woodfrog. Like the comments below say, maybe once Sequel Wars is complete, take a break and see if you want to resume this project instead of cancelling it outright. By the way, I'm enjoying the hell outta Episode Red, keep up the good work.

Don't worry, I'm still working on it. I'm also not only just doing new stages, but also redoing old ones based on feedback. But thanks for reminding me, I should post more screenshots to get more feedback, so I'll post a new preview soon!

This game really has a weird feel to it. The realistic sound effects and "serious" music are kind of off-putting, and the odd hybridization of _Mega Man 7_ and _8_-style graphics is unique, but kind of uncomfortable. Mostly, though? This game seems too _serious._ But, at least it's not NES-style. (:
