Anime and Manga characters tend to be built with crazy over the top in mind, they rarely have easy weaknesses and usually have powers that are beyond what you would expect.  (granted not all anime characters just a lot of those most likely to be chosen for death battle)

Batman beat Captain America despite being out classed in strength and speed because his knowledge of martial arts exceeds Capts. Luke beat Harry for just having a scar on his head, and Dead pool only really won for having an extreme healing factor, but yeah a lot of them are outclassed in almost every way. Guys, stop trying to get One Punch Man into a death battle. While I haven't watched the full anime, I have watched several of the fight scenes, and it became clear very quickly, that this guy's powers were meant to be a complete joke. Similar to Chuck Norris, or Segata Sanshiro. The writing for the ending of all the fight scenes just boils down to "How funny can this guy be when he wins?"

Even though I'm disappointed Rock lost, I can't say that the fight wasn't awesome. I feel like this is the robotic equivalent to Goku v Superman, but not in the butthurt way, even though I've seen a lot of butthurt. Like Goku, Mega Man has limits, whereas Astro Boy doesn't have limitations or at least not many. Rock did the best he could, but like Goku v Superman, Goku could only do so much to Clark. obviously i have a problem with the outcome.... 1.why did his metal blades run out of amo so quickly?? i did a bit of math and megaman has 28 units of weapon energy, with one unit of weapon energy you can throw 3 metal blades, so megaman shou,d be able to throw 84 metal blades. 2.megaman can freeze time meaning he can disassemble astroboy. (in the archie comics megaman was a lab assistant and that means that he helpt creating robots, and if you can assemble robots you can disassemble them to) 3.megaman is smarter and more strategic, becouse he does not have sheer strength to rely on, and astroboy does. (in any of the astroboy comics or cartoons he simply fists oponents to death or does it with his finger....laser.....or skmething like that....not much of a strategy) 4.megaman has atomic fire that can be hotter than the surface than the sun and its seen that astroboy has melten a bit from coming NEAR the sun. 5.megaman can teleport. (nr.5 is something related to ssb4 in his down taunt he can teleport, ot sure if he can use this in battle though....) tell me if you disagree.

BIGGEST MISTAKE I'VE SEEN ON THIS SHOW. Totally left out Super Arm, which magnifies MegaMan's strength several times over (manga). Left out E-Tanks, which Astro has nothing similar to, and no way to counter. BTW, E-Tanks have even been used in MegaMan manga, cartoons, and so on, so there's no reason he wouldn't be able to use them here to outlast Astro. His shield type power ups didn't even get mentioned! He could have used them for defense and offense. MegaMan 8: Astro Crush, he sends an array of meteors at the enemy, and it makes Mega invulnerable for a short time. Also, why didn't Centaur Flash get put in this video? Y'know, the time stopping special weapon that actually deals huge damage at the same time? Seriously, did you guys spend ANY time looking through his powers, or did you just pick 4 or 5 you recalled off the top of your head and say "This is good enough"? Atomic Fire and Metal Blade are perfectly fine power ups, but they aren't his best by a long shot. This video reeked of ignorance, and I sincerely hope there wasn't any favoritism going into the decision. I'm sorry, but the last several videos you guys have put out have been so far off the mark. None of the victories have felt justified, and that is an unbiased opinion. I like Astro & Mega, but it felt like you were giving the Blue Bomber a disadvantage on purpose. Now, I don't really care for Dan or Hercule, but again your reasoning for how Satan would have won seemed...forced. Almost like you couldn't come up with a legitimate reason for him to win. Same way with some others recently. I know this likely won't be read by anyone on your team, but if it does, please spend some more time researching when you have a character like MegaMan in your battle. There's WAY too much stuff to be examined before a decision is made. His fighting style, weapons, armor, and more seemed like they were just glossed over by you guys. You can't do that with somebody like Rock, you will miss something vital.

Let's ignore that she's stood inches from a star going supernova when figuring out her toughness so that what's her name will win. The fight with Cloud? They intentionally did NOT give him his most powerful equipment allowing him only two materia when his best gear would have given him SIXTEEN. They pick a winner and make up the reason later. If they can't come up with one, they restrict the fight in such a manner that their chosen fighter has a reason to win.

Super Arm may upgrade strength but by how much compared to Astro Boy? Is it enough to push him over the edge? We don't know because no source material has ever had to answer the question. The same is said for most of Megaman's upgrades. We only see them in the context of battle in his games. The ones they used are the ones with more expanded lore (comic books etc.) Also, for the record, E-Tanks are essentially the same as Astro's fuel cylinders.

Peach vs Zelda: powerful princess that tend to get taken. Robocop vs Terminator: futuristic soldiers that helped shape action sci-fi. If they cant beat Superman, Galactus or someone like that just on their own is not a big deal. Arceus doesn't really have well-defined skills outside of in-game stats though. And it would have difficulty even starting a fight because everything it gets involved in is because the fight goes to it. It took on Purple Eyes and Nobunaga because they summoned it, but it didn't lift a finger to stop Cyrus despite him enacting his plan in what was essentially Arceus's basement.

Id be curious to see the MU redone with the new MegaMan buffs. the 60,000 ton vs 100,000 ton feat may have also been debunked given that MegaMan hadn't equipped the super arm weapon which in many forms of MegaMan media buffs his strength. and the double gear system would also be super effective, as with upgrades can cause megaman's speed and reaction time to at least 4x as fast, and power at least 2x as strong (with bounce mans weapon going from 3 to 6 shots) or at "most" 4x as strong (block mans weapon shooting 4 to 16 shots). This not to mention would also buff his other weapons (time stopper/ice slasher/ spark shock (megaman 3 GB) into power gear Atomic Fire would 100% kill astro man given the heat being enough for a kill). This isnt including a buff in moves like super arm which would guarantee better strength, buffed black holes, and just everything MegaMan 4/5 gameboy (forgot which one), shows him traveling through rush in space avoiding lasers at insane speeds, which can show light speed reactions and debatably speed. (once again not including speed gear). And again while yes the double gear runs on a timer that needs a cooldown, he has more than enough weapons to always give him time to refresh. Likewise these reactions would definitely let him use the mirror buster on anything he cant move out of the way of And while the overdrive power gear double buster charge shot would 100% kill MegaMan, its not required to kill Astro boy as stated above. Even so Astro Boy was still stronger, faster and more durable than Mega-man. All his analytical skills would have done is help him realize how outclassed he was. That is not to Mega-man wasn't a good matchup it just comes down to who can take and give more punishment.

I'm surprised they never once mentioned Astro Boy's weakness to electricity (and never even talked about the Thunder Beam in the analysis) and that Mega Man has faster-than-light reaction times, and the analytical skills could've at least given him the knowledge that he needed to stop using melee-based weapons (Metal Blades aren't going to really do much to Astro here) and switch things up. There are a couple of weapons in Mega Man's list that are better than others that they listed (where was the Laser Trident and Rain Flush? And where was the Super Arm as his only strength-enhancing weapon that isn't the Rush Super Adapter armor?) but... Astro does win everywhere else, sadly.
