I definitely want to try this with the rest of the mavericks from X1 and maybe X2-X3. Let me know if you like it!

I always imagine this triumphant part of the song the part where X exits the tower and sees the vista outside. The harmonies, the swelling heights, and then X keeps climbing the walls and ladders. Captured beautifully in this remix.

Actually really like this, it's a remix of the original theme, but still feels like the same instruments are being used. Definitely has that "Not limited by hardware" feel to it, just better versions of the same instruments.

I love it, and the parts you added to it are great! It would be pretty awesome if you did make this a full series, and if so, you should at least go through X2 as well. Basically, he's using the snes samples, but hes not limited to 8 channels, and he can add effects. More room for delay channels, chords, more complex drums, and more overlapping melody/solo sections. A great concept, with great execution.
