Im confused, because there are a bunch of Mavericks that are from pevious games in here and since there are 8 X games one would think 1 boss from each game. But there is only 5 I recognize and the other 3 I dont for Mavericks. It would make since if they dropped it down to 4 maybe. But this just dont make sense to me

Maybe the developers only chose the mavericks they liked. It is thier game after all.

The game isn’t finished yet so I believe the creator is making the mavericks and most of them are going to change

Maybe they don't consider X6 onwards canon in their game's world. After all X5 was originally intended to be the last game of the X series.

@@JJRETRO or now that I think about it. This game probably takes place in between 5 and X6. So that those bosses have been beaten but X6 and beyond literally hasn't happened yet

from what i know so far, the returning mavericks from X1-X6 are going to be a new game+ thing, that being legacy bosses. Corrupted's original mavericks will stay as the main 8 bosses. also Corrupted's story is meant to be an alternate take on X6, so it's meant to replace that game entirely

Brazilians are carrying the Megaman X franchise on their shoulders. Corrupted and X8 "Demake" are the best games I've seen in a while. I've already played the demo of X8 demake and, like everyone else, I've been waiting for years for the release of Corrupted, which has the potential to simply be the best game in the entire X franchise.

These guys will probably die without finishing this game.. I'm not trying to be toxic but it's like they're doing this more out of hobby than keeping a real goal with the skills they've acquired over all these years. They have so much potential but it's a waste if they don't set goals and keep growing, being stuck in the same thing for so many years is just hurtful to watch.

You've done what so many including myself only ever dreamed of. Just the fact this proof of concept exists shows the possibilities. In this day and age, where production teams and companies seem intent on sabotaging and ruining intellectual properties that aren't in a dormant state, fan games give new life and hope. Thank you. Even if things were never to pan-out, I am glad just by what I have seen here. You care about this series a lot more than some people.
