I don't understand why this doesn't have millions of views. I also find it to be one of the most underrated X songs and Mega Man songs in general. There are hardly any remixes of this song but this is definitely the best in my opinion. Especially the ending from 3:24-3:34

Just came by to say this is still one of the best X2 remixes ever written, right up there with Dominic Ninmark's remix of the Hunter stage theme. It spices up the original without going overboard, bringing it new life without corrupting its spirit. I can, and do, listen to it all day.

Crystal Snail's theme was always so beautiful and ethereal sounding to me, and matched perfectly with the energy crystal mine that served as his stage. This remix manages to keep that spirit, and make it even more awesome!

For those that don't know, this was one of the tracks that were featured on "Mega Man X: Maverick Rising". That's where I was exposed to this song at. And Vurez, I want to let you know that this song is, bar none, the best track on the CD. I understand that you didn't create the song, but your remix makes the original seem like trash. This is one of those very rare songs that you can close your eyes, throw on a pair of headphones, and listen to it tell a story without ever using a single word. I listen to this and I hear an introduction, the beginning of the story and the start of the problem, the conflict happening, the confrontation turning into a tragic failure, the despair of the loss turning into courage and focus and then building into a rise to the challenge. It culminates into this epic showdown and climaxes as the hero overcomes the adversary and then fades out as the resolution plays. The original sounded like just another video game song, but you took it a gave it fucking emotion! I do NOT think of songs like this. I'm not some in-depth poet or some overly analytical type of artist/musician. I don't get all "gushy" over music, but this is a rare exception so I just wanted to stop by and give a sincere thanks for making an incredible remix. Keep doing what you're doing because you're doing it right.

to be honest the original is pretty good. though his arrangements are very good, remember that the original composer is the one who brought up the original scale patterns and melodies. so saying "this makes the original sound like trash" is a bit pretentious. specially because it doesn't take into account the limitations of the platform. 30 seconds loop, 16 bit fake instruments... the original composer had to make the most out of these extreme limitations and did a very good job. Think about trying to paint a whole history with only 3 or 4 riffs. That's basically what all original Megaman songs are about

But at the end there was peace, together in their alliance they would rule Great Brittain, fair and just, into a new era of light (I have nothing to do with any of these people or nations, but that is what this song makes me feel lol, at least the beginning, to be honest the final third part means nothing special to me, good start but then it gets inconsistent)
