Mega Man X2 (SNES) Speedrun-100% (All Trophies)

**TIME STAMPS BELOW** A Mega Man X2 100% speedrun (earning all items, as well as all achievements - or all hunter medals). Now, technically you need the Legacy Collection re-release on PC, PS4, Wii U, and Xbox One to "officially" earn these... But I always play on the Super Nintendo. Plus, there's many who still play the X Collection version on the Gamecube & PS2. So this category I invented is basically about getting all the ones that would be possible just by playing X2 itself. -------------------- THE RULES: In addition to what's usually required in 100% (beating the x hunters while getting all upgrades and collectibles), you must get the Legacy Collection achievements. This means beating the Opening without taking damage, allowing Morph Moth to transform on his own (yes, that's one of this game's secrets - see 15:52), clearing Magna Centipede while dodging the spotlights, using a Charged Silk Shot in one of three secret rooms for Health or Ammo, using the Giga Crush to kill 1 of 8 Maverick bosses, and killing Wire Sponge with an uncharged Sonic Slicer. In addition, you must *not* use a password generator to skip fighting bosses or anything else. You may not modify the passwords given by the game, either. You must start a New Game, then play until you get all items and beat the final boss. -------------------- Trophies 1) Size Matters Not 00:11 -Beat the Opening stage with no damage. 2) Take Your Time 15:52 -Do not damage Morph Moth till he transforms on his own. 3) Covert Ops 18:46 -Clear Magna Centipede's stage while dodging all the searchlights. 4) Second Armor 23:40 -Collect all four armor parts. 5) Friendly Neighborhood Mega Man 26:06 -Go into a secret room in Bubble Crab, Overdrive Ostrich, or Crystal Snail's stage, then use a Charged Silk Shot to collect Health or Ammo. Also nice for life farming, as these are also the best places to fill sub tanks. 6) Dodge This! 28:06 -Kill 1 of the 8 starting mavericks with Giga Crush (2 DMG, except when Centipede teleports) 7) Attack Me if You Dare 34:05 -Get the Shoryuken in X-Hunter Stage 3. 8) Half the Sponge He Used to Be 40:48 -Cut Wire Sponge in half with an uncharged Sonic Slicer. 9) Zero Squared 42:00 -Beat the X Hunters in the maverick stages so Zero destroys Black Zero. This also skips the Zero fight you would have otherwise had to do. 10) It's Really Over 43:45 -Defeat Virus Sigma. 11) The Price of Peace is Often High 43:45 -Watch the entire ending (this is counted with "It's Really Over", so for this category, you don't ACTUALLY have to watch the credits... That would just be longer for no good reason.) Boss Order (this is the best boss order for pure speed.
