So this is how the PS1 version is? Mindblown. I grew up playing the SNES version by the way. While im totally enjoying the animated 80s anime-like cutscenes and maverick bosses intro videos, the OST is very different and sounds more "advanced" with different styles of music versus the compressed SNES 16-bit rock/metal sounding renditions of the music I grew fond of.

Remember when Qui Gon Jinn was trying to cut through the door blast doors to the Trade Fed. ship in the beginning of the Phantom Menace - They wished they had Zero's saber lol. Kinda reminds me of the energy blades from Halo - they are one of the most powerful things in the entire game. lol XD

@@LordCloudStrife xD i love your videos man I played Megaman X as my first video game ever in like 1992, I was like 5 years old. I was so hooked I would pee my pants in my chair instead of getting up to go 20 feet to teh bathroom LOL xD. X4 narrowly beats out X as my favorite game in the entire megaman - with a special honorable mention to Megaman Legends and Legends 2 and a few of the Zero series for the handhelds. legends tho they just had such a cool world with the airships and stuff it was rly original as hell. I think X7 and X8 are tied for worst in the entire franchise tho imo. Sucks to be Axel lol. Poor fella, he just wasn't that cool with his little pistol lol. They should have made Vile turn sides in X6 and make him a playable character, I bet that's where the idea for Axel came from - someone on the dev team def wanted to make a good guy version of Vile that could fire in 360 degree directions.

I don't mind mega man x difficulty, so long as it's fun but I see the characters (bosses) here and I see basically all of them do the same thing of dashing from side to side like they're bumper cars... I mean spark mandrake would at least gain immunity to getting frozen for a short time and armored armadillo would fight even if the armor was shocked off so they could fight back but every boss here is like a dehydrated gamer who doesn't look up...

To get the Full Body Upgrade @1:24ish you must have all four upgrades in place, all four energy tanks, all eight heart tanks,, beat all three side bosses, have all four mobile armors(N)(K)(H)(F)and HAVE a full energy bar,, you don’t have to have full energy tanks but it wouldn’t hurt in case you take a hit on the way there

I view it like the Enegy blades and the other melee weapons and hell even the regular melee hit with the butt of the gun that many FPS have - Halo series for example - they are insanely powerful. You can fire rockets into some of the enemies faces and do less damage than a body shot with a melee attack in most video games it seems - unless of course the game is primarily a melee video game combat video game.

I used to think that this upgrade x buster was the best. But after replaying it the blaster is actually the worst one yet. I wish the double shot did more than just turn into a weak sweep attack. In megaman x corruption they did what it should have done. Spread then homing

You need to beat Bit/Byte using a boss weapon before defeating all 8 robot masters. If you use xbuster, they just run away and come back at first dopple stage.

Nonsense. I played both versions back to back. Only differences are how sound and music work in both games, the cut scenes in the PSX/Saturn versions and whether you have save or password options. Gameplay is exactly the same.

1. 40:40 best music in the game imo >:) - nothing in the entire megaman universe though matches the original Megaman X soundtrack tho imo. There's not a bad song on the OST. 2. 1:29:31 is so adorable the way that ride armor tries SOOO hard to get some more height on it's jumps underwater :D 3. Zero is hot as fuck. I wanna see him with his hair out of the helmet omg he'd look sexy as fuck like Alexi Laiho from Children of Bodom ( RIP ) 4. Why doesn't Sigma just cover his head in the same armor as the rest of his body lol - what a dumbass :D. He's already been killed twice in the X series in the games, has killed millions of humans and reploidds at this point i'm sure and he hasn't and never figures out how to put that impentrable armor on at the very least himself - not to mention - idk how technology would advance in any sentient civilization and be able to overlook something like that - of course it just classic villain hubris perhaps because he has so many bodies and his virus is all over the planet at this point he reminds me a lot of Agent Smith from The Matrix. Think about it like the average enemy the in Halo series games can take at least a few rounds if they aren't headshots dozens if not hundreds of rounds depending on the difficulty of course. But the Master Chief gets an energy blade or just the butt of his rifle up close and it's lights out for 80% of the baddies in teh game. XDDD

+Jefferson Miguel Cuz Dr. Willey created Zero to be the heart of the Maverick Virus. If you think of the series as a TV show, X4 is just a filler, but X5 is the big climax. X6 is the ending to the series, and x7 and x8 are just fillers.

mrsnekochandesu yes, you need to destroy Bit/Bite and Vile during the 8 boss stages, after when you reach Doppler Stage 2 you have to kill the sub-boss (the drone flying around) using Zero like i do on 1:30:26
