I see some questions in the comments, so I'm answering them. -How do I install it? First, download Mega Man X6 USA 1.1 version rom file to the Internet, and then patch Mega Man X6 USA 1.1 version rom file and Mega Man X6 Remake.xdelta using a program called xdeltaUI. How to use xdeltaUI can be found through KZbin search. -What's the difference? The difference from the original will be uploaded as a video later. For reference, it is not officially released, but a user patch version. I'm sorry I made a title that could be misunderstood. (I modified the title of the video title, And changed the name of the nuclear version from "remake" to "N's Edition".)

@@fnd2583 but for real though, It's a mix betweeen legality and ethics. Sharing of ROMs and ISOs have a tonne of grey area in law especially with IPs from big company. A company can choose to take action and take down unauthorized distribution of their IPs even if they're not actively profitting anymore from it. Ethically, and this extends to mods of games, modders and rom/iso hackers, usually do not provide, the raw game, rom or iso. This is because of said above threat of legal action. This is why modders, rom/iso hackers provide installation instructions for their works, as mostly modesty. Since it is mostly off their hands at this point how you got your copy of the game. Also come on, it isn't hard reading a few steps to applying mod/hack/fan latch to a game unless you're one of those who're either extra lazy or extra paranoid of recieving files off the interwebs.

Hey, just a question, i noticed on the trailer that boss levels are gone, does that mean that bosses no longer increase in difficulty after collecting nightmare souls? I would like to be able to beat lvl 4 Nightmare Zero to obtain Black Zero and maybe an option to obtain the Ultimate Armor without a code. I hope you consider this for future updates.

Wow i didn't know you could unlock black zero and the ultimate armor in the game despite having playing it multiple times, i always thought the only way to get those was the codes

@@MegaShingo97 You should be able to unlock Black Zero if the level of the Nightmare Zero was higher than 4 when you fought him to unlock Zero, however, in the original game, you cannot fight him at level 4....

@@MegaShingo97 The only games I know you can unlock the Ultimate Armor without a code and have Black Zero as well, without a code, are X5 and X8 from the main series. On Command Mission you have the ultimate armor for both also without codes.

The amount of nightmare souls needed to fight LVL 4 Nightmare Zero is higher than the amount of souls required for the Alia cutscene, which unlocks Gate's Lab afterwards, and locks you out of the Nightmare Zero and Hi-Max bosses.

Can someone tell me exactly what changes there are in this? I noticed you can kill the platform bugs in Yammark's stages, X Saber seems stronger, and there's some layout changes, but that's about all I can see. Are the Nightmare System and the Nightmares themselves still garbage? Was the Museum gimmick changed? Is Heatnix's stage an actual stage and not a glorified miniboss rush against donuts?

Great Patch, just beat it a second time, I could see there was alot of thought into it, nice touch making ground dash faster, pitty that Ground Scaravich stage RNG when is not in the mood to put you to the path to take the armor helmet can really piss off as usual, and thanks for making Gate fight less of a drag reducing the resistence of his orbs

reading some comments had me thinking this: they made X4, X5, X6 on PS1 similar to how they made X1, X2, X3 on SNES X1/X4 destructive city opening stage, StormEagle StormOwl, fair difficulty, 4th Armor X1 Armor upgraded resemblance, Jungle stage (they threw a handful of X1 references) and many more X2/X5 water stage ost. slightly complicated gameplay (faster pace action difficulty) more text/story X3/X6 epic MMX universe, veteran level, X uses Z-Saber

ran into a a seriously bad glitch upon playing this... the Saber X uses straight up had no hitbox, didn't hit enemies and I could not progress on the intro stage.

The reason is that the emulator is not compatible. It is recommended to run with "epsxe" or "pscx".

Hi. I am the guy who commented as bulky turtle. First of all, Thanks for making this remake, I have a blast playing it. While i did beat it with a few problems, My only complain is how you start back from the beginning when you lose all of your life. I wish you could start at the checkpoint instead but i guess those stuff make x6 slightly easy?

Thank you for enjoying my patch version. Even if I lost all life, if it starts again from the checkpoint point, the meaning of life has disappeared, so I changed it. Like x4, I wanted to divide the Area into two and make it, but it was impossible with my technology.

The difficulty revamp remind me of Ninja Gaiden 3 NES where some of the enemy placement are added to fill the gap and increased damage when you get hit. If i compare with the original where the enemy placement was a big mess, This one is still tolerable. And the ground scaravich stage is the example of the stage with worst enemy placement. Thank you for your work on this remake.

From what I see, level layouts and enemy placement are very different. Nightmare boss moves slower, minibosses are tweaked as well. The weapons seem stronger

Block still have same weakness however Nightmare iron now required meteor rain to destroy the iron. So far other annoying stuff that has been removed i believe is just nightmare dark. Oh wait, Nightmare virus(the one that like hologram love to chase you no matter where you are) probably removed too.
