Definitely. The only horrible thing I didn't like with X8 was Gigavolt's stage. Many lives were lost out of simply not knowing what to do with the stage at first. Gigavolt himself was fine with me

Man I love this game. Having 3(6?) Playable characters with different weapons and being able to switch with your partner in-stage was so fun. I remember when this came out, I was so excited. I was so sure the X series would keep moving in this awesome direction. Alas, many a bump in the road for my boy X this last decade+. Here's to hoping that X gets the same treatment Classic did with Mega Man 11

Chest: *Eartrock trilobyte* Stage After making the giant robot scape, into a little cave, use burn rooster's ability to pass. Booster: *Noah's Park* stage Before the bee room, enter the level a second time and enter the low plant entrance. Boots: *Bamboo Pandemonium* stage After the first ride armor room, Go up in the elevator with the ride armor and use jump, air dash, Jump off the ride armor and use air dash. Hermes armor parts: Helmet: *Avalanche yeti* stage After destroying the plane, use zero to get up the metal structure and use optic sunflower's ability to destroy the ice block wall Chest: *Dark Mantis* stage In the third elevator, go up to find a hidden room Booster: *Optic Sunflower* After the fourth challenge room use the gravity antonion's ability to break the cristal wall. @DeadMemes NeedToStayDead X5 had like one bit of memorable dialogue, Squid Adler. Because there you at least get a callback to an earlier game (though the localization team buggered it up by not fully translating "Launch Octopus") and actually get to see the Maverick virus turn a bot from rational to murderous lunatic. But other than that, yeah, pretty much boils down to X saying "stop it!" and the boss saying "never!" and then they fight.

Like other X games with dialogues, you kinda need to play the game a couple of times(ie. enter all the bosses with all 3 characters) to get the whole story. The ending for example slightly changes depending on who dealt the final blow against Lumine. Both X and Zero ponder about what Lumine says while Axl's gem is eerily focused on, implying Lumine's tentacles did *something* to him.

Pretty easy. The game operates on a flat 2D plane already, so they just made an object with zero depth as Cutman. That's why he flips over like a piece of paper when he turns around, he's not a sprite but a 3d character who's completely flat.

I truly understand X's frustrations at the beginning of the game now, every reploid he tried to reason with was so convinced and lost in the virus that he had no other reason but shut them down . On the PS2 he only appears if you have a save for MMX Command Mission on your memory card, or you input a code at the title screen. On the PC Version he appears if you take the topmost possible path at Troia Base (best results in every room) In Legacy Collection 2 he appears only if you input the PS2 title screen code.
