Funny story about Dr. Weil. In Japan, they straight up called him Dr. Vile, but the overseas team had already used that name back in the X series so they used the same word in German that's even pronounced similarly. This had the side-effect of having to edit his V symbol to a W (except for one time that couldn't really be changed), which in turn lead to some confusion among overseas fans on whether he's related to/is Wily or not. He's not.
