This is really really. It is very much the best orchestral version of this song on youtube. It makes me really proud to see this Some notes for improvements mostly are that orchestras have more time to breath, it could benefit with a few moments of breathing room for example the sections of violin and brass around 2:40. Especially the violin part at 1:32 The sampling could be better, as well as sound balance, the instruments kind of blend together. The instruments could benefit having a more delineated sound, in particular the bass parts from the start. Still though there are SO many great ideas. Taking parts of mm3 and hard revenge versions of the song is a great idea. adding the voicings of omega at the start of the end like in the original game is such *chefs kiss* There are things you can fine tune for sure, but this is a solid B+ A- Not only is this the best orchestral cover of cannonball. It is one of the top 10 renditions of this song. Which is saying something, cause the 70 metal covers of this song are quite good haha

Wow, I really really appreciate the well thought out and structured feedback. Yeah now that I can confidently get ideas down and use the right stuff my biggest roadblock now is realism and that extra layer of polish I have to learn but, not to deflect valid criticism, I will say I'm probably taking on a lot more extra tasks than I need to since I'm using multiple different libraries that have vastly different characteristics so it's a bit harder to properly blend everything but I definitely won't use that as an excuse. But again, thank you for the feedback, it's greatly appreciated!

Personally, my headcanon was that Omega went down so easy in Zero 3 because he was mostly all power while Zero had recovered his memories and had centuries of skill on his side. Then Omega is so hard to beat in ZX because of a combination of Vent/Aile being so green and Omega himself stewing in his rage, reliving his final moments on an infinite playback until something resembling those he battled in those final moments finally walked into the room and he somehow materialized his AI in physical reality to fight.

It doesn't show up or get mentioned again in ZXA, and while there's speculation regarding Flammole sensing it in the first game that remains unconfirmed. Model O is also simply referred to as a "Mysterious Rock" when collected and is simply mentioned by Flueve to be able to be used like a Biometal. It never speaks either, so even if Model O is canon it doesn't seem as though it actually houses Omega's consciousness within it, only a portion of his power. Further backing this up is the fact that Omega himself remains in his boss room even after you obtain Model O.

However they seem to take on more sinister & violent while using the Biometal. With Vent acting like a bloodthirsty berserker similarly to prometheus, while Alie seems to be in a emotionless, detached state. Implying that this form influences them with Omega's unhinged personality. Though this never shown in canon, except for the ZXA Manga. However the latter is essentially non-canon to the game. Another thing to note that isn't Area K(where Flame Mole is located) is underneath Area N? Flamemole thought he was sensing a Model W fragment, like yet after you defeat him he questions if he was sensing Biometal W or "something else". Hinting at the Biometal O's existence. Though it is questionable of how he's sensing it when Omega(as a Cyber-entity) is in Cyberspace despite within Area N despite it being underneath Area K. Is it due to Omega's explosion that cause a Rift in-between Cyberspace after his defeat at the hands of Zero? How was the mysterious rock that is Model O was formed that house Omega's essence? It wasn't created by Ciel or even as a extension as Model W. The latter of which as Weil was never near Omega when he exploded or have a way to revive him due to Zero's original not being a Reploid in nature. So I assume it was formed in a Rift by Omega's wraith after his defeat to manifest himself again, though this seems very flawed as it causes him to replay the same moment of his defeat in a infinite loop as you said. As evident of the background occasionally changes into the chamber of his final fight with Zero. Until something reassembles those he battled allow him to briefly manifest his Cyber form to get his vengeance. After you defeat him or complete the challenges, you can go into the small chamber that house Model O in its Mysterious rock form for you to give to Fleuva to modify it into a proper Biometal to use through Model X.

@@bionic-tale4313 The artwork isn't canon. Vent and Aile while using Model O don't act differently in-game. The manga isn't canon and is actually a gag manga, it doesn't even take itself seriously. It's never confirmed what the "Something else?" might be that Flammole was sensing, and the open ended nature of his confusion suggests that it very well indeed could have been Model W/V that he felt, or even something meant for a future game such as the canceled ZXC. Omega's manifestation as a Cyber entity within physical reality has nothing to do with the rock, and you don't even need to fight him to obtain it. You can fight either the returning Zero 3 or 4 bosses instead to make the Mysterious Rock appear without taking the other route through Area N at all. Nothing is known about how the rock formed and it's unconfirmed to even be canon, or whether Vent and Aile actually obtained it even if it is. It's entirely possible that the rock doesn't exist at all and is simply a cool bonus intended as a reward for players who have beaten the game, as even if you have the rock before beating the game you cannot obtain the transformation before doing so. Flueve also once again never refers to it as a Biometal, and simply mentions that you should be able to use it like one with Model X. This suggests that the rock isn't a Biometal at all, but simply has some similar properties. It doesn't have Omega's presence or personality within it, only a fragment of his power that can be accessed through merging it with Model X through a Double Megamerge.

Absolutely stellar version 2. The MMZ3 side is phenomenal. The added wind instruments help counteract the violin so that it doesn't take the front and center stage, and to finish out any phrases that I didn't even know could have existed previously; I don't see how one could really improve it much more without really disrupting the feel the song has at the moment. They also compliment the latter half of the MMZ3 version very well. Like Jason Tan said though, the second half of the video could be fine tuned a bit better, but I don't think there's much else that I could suggest that Jason didn't already suggest. 9.87 out of 10. You, sir, are the Messiah. HAHAHA HAHAHA!

Let's be real: the original version of Cannonball on its own sounds a little too generic to conjure up a powerful emotional connection to the boss its made for, unlike, say, X vs Zero in X5. Something like the hard version of this remix should be modded by a fan to play during the boss.
