Hello. Do you know how to make the Megamenu main characters clickable? They are only showing the Megamenu on hover, but I would like to be able to click them in order to go to the main directory they are representing, in my case "Lingerie".

Hey Ryan, on normal wix editor is it possible to connect an image to a button on your mega menu? For example if I have handbag 1 and 2, when I hover over handbag 1 the picture shows up, and when I hover over handbag 2 the other picture shows up? Thanks for your content!

Hey Ryan, love your videos. You have a tool bar on the right hand side of your screen, the one where you were editing your container. How do you get that to show up? Another question I would like to ask, how do I make the context of the container reactive to the site size, I would think there would be a way to have it expand to the full page, or shrink based on page size.

Based on your questions, I think you may be using the regular classic Wix editor. This tutorial is for Wix Studio, Wix's platform for agencies and freelancers. It is a bit harder to learn than the classic editor, but it is really worth it!

Hello, do you know why when I try to edit the megamenu it shows the container underneath the section below?
@wixfix10 ай бұрын
Hmm. I do not. I tried to replicate this and the mega menu appears under the header (and on top of the section below the header). If it is appearing in a section a lot lower than the header, then I would reach out to support to see if they can resolve the issue for you!

I had the same problem and couldn't find any answers on the internet. To me the solution was to delete the global header (the green section) and then create a new section with your header design, place it on top and configure it as a global section (header) again. If it doesn't work grab a drop menu from the sections panel and repeat.

I have a problem with my mega-menu. When I go on preview mode and I'm on "home" page, the mega-menu is behind the Hero Image, I tried to arrange the menu and moved it to the "front"... but nothing, I tried to put the Hero Image to the back, But nothing... I even deleted the whole menu and replace it with a new one, but the mega-menu still behind that hero image. What can I do? Thanks👍

How can this all be done with CMS providing the category and items?! I want to add a dynamic list within the container - a list of items based on a CMS table, the table has column "category" (5 of them currently, but more can be added) and then "name" column too, there are about 30 rows in all but more products being added all the time, so I want the mega menu to show the category heading, with the name of the items which have that category. So we end up with a dynamic list of category, with name item1, name item 2, name item 3, etc as many as there are names with that category, and then category 2, with name item 4, name item 5, etc, .. showing all of the name items by category within the mega menu. Each item has it''s own page where the site visitor can first use the drop down to navigate the various product names by category, select the name and go to a page for each item. Any tips?! Seems like it's not something that can happen out of the box, needs coding???

Is the mga menu avialable on the wix classic because i dont seem to work?
@dzilen3 ай бұрын
It’s not available on Wix classic which I just discovered and that had me move my website over to Wix studio. Unfortunately, you have to build your website from scratch, but you can import your Wix assets from classic into studio, which is a big time saver

Hi Ryan, I haven't yet begun using Wix Studio and haven't watched any of your other WS YT tuts except the last one you did before this one where you were debating the question, which should a new Wix user use-the one that got me to join your community. This one reconfirms that WS is similar to Webflow. The reason I'm commenting right now, however, is that you are using the ADIDAS home page as part of the thumbnail of this video. This isn't a criticism, BTW, it's just curious synchronicity. I didn't even look at the thumbnail that closely to notice that it is the Adidas site until after I'd watched this tut. The YT thumbnail shows a megamenu that is _exactly_ what I want to create for the site I'm working on. This includes a) a dropdown with columns of links, b) a thumbnail at the top of each column, c) the dropdown is not full-width (at least not at the breaking point shown) d) there is a margin (blank space) along the dropdown's top edge, separating it from the header, and e) it has rounded corners. Seriously _exactly_ what I was thinking I wanted to do! Then I watched this tut and at the end, I was thinking, hmmm... that isn't what I was expecting! LOL... again this isn't a criticism, just a curious synchronicity. Anyway, it was only after I'd watched your tut, that I went back and looked at the YT thumbnail for it and saw that what it showed was the Adidas website. So... I went to their site. But (at least as of today using Safari on my 27" iMac) when I hovered over their menu, it did NOT show the same dropdown as shown on this YT thumbnail. Rather, it is a full VW, with square corners, and no space between it and the header. o.0 :\ LOL ... So obviously I'm a little confused, wondering if you're working on another tut that will include the above a,b,c… I'm interested in? (IOW, thinking maybe you took a screenshot of something you'd modified?) But, since I was on the Adidas site already, I decided to narrow my Safari window from the right and take screenshots to find out where its breakpoints were set. There are several. When I narrowed it to about 1920 pixels in width (@144ppi) the menu collapsed into a hamburger, top left of the screen. But, when I tried clicking on the hamburger (my curser indicated it is clickable) nothing happened. Hmmmm!!! Anyway, ... I wanted to tell you this little story just because I thought you'd find it interesting. Feel free to delete it before this goes public, I don't take such things personally or anything. I've only watched it once so far, and since it reconfirms what I suspected re WixStudio/Webflow UI, I'm fairly confident I could figure out how to achieve what I want (the a,b,c…) in Wix Studio. So thanks! ~ Mike
