My guess is gonna this weird Future Sight+Recover move set with Rapid-Fire Scarf, Muscle Band, and Shell Bell with maybe Shedinja Doll. Then you do 7 red, 4 white, 2 green emblems and you're basically a Special basic attack artillery cannon that recovers its own health.

I know some people don't like the idea of calling Mewtwo a "Split Evolution" pokemon like Scyther/Scizor and both forms of Urshifu, but with the way things are handled between picking between X or Y at the start of the match, Mewtwo is basically our third split (albeit one that you choose at the start of the match as opposed to at Level 5). That and the whole "can only have Mewtwo per team" as well does add to this fun caveat. Really though, I am going to be rather interested in finding out which form will get more mileage. Much like how Scyther is favored over Scizor and how Dark Bear and Water Bear seem to constantly swap places, I do wonder if we will see the Close Range Punching Mewtwo X as the favored Legendary or if the Long Range Shooter Mewtwo Y will be the more viable pick. Either way, the fun is about to commence all over again soon and it will be fun to watch the chaos unfold. Just going to hope that chaos doesn't reach Zacian levels (although we probably are well past that point...)

Always heard how Bullet Punch wasn't as good as Dual Wingbeat, but I do see how Bullet Punch is the chosen move about 80% of the time now. Still, point remains about the curiosity of Mewtwo X vs Mewtwo Y. But I do thank you for getting me to find the answer to the other two split evolutions (those being Scisor and Water Urshifu according to the API).

I think the build will include Wise Glasses and Slick Spoon for sure, the only question is how much you want RFS over a choice specs, muscle band or energy amp. For emblems, reds are useless for it, so I'm gonna guess either a black green or white green page, idk which yet but with how long the cooldowns are I'm guessing the black green page is gonna be better. Battle items: eject button is eject button, X Attack has great synergy with how much raw special attack it has and how it likes to attack fast Either way, this mon is definitely breaking the meta

m2x is so good because it’s tanky and has insane damage. It’s crazy easy to play and can just 4v1 no problem. M2Y would probably be easier to deal with as it blows up much easier. Even CC on m2x he just survives and kills you after, I think hard CC on m2y just fcks him hard.

Mewtwo X also has high movement speed, mobility on top of being one of teh best tanks and speedsters in teh game for burst damage. IDC what he is classified as as this thing is bugged lucario tier to blastoise day one broken. Mewtwo made a whole notehr tier for tierlists dubbed Y tier. Also if attackers fast and safe were so good no one would lose with inteleon which has stealth passive, point and click auto aim water shurikens with far better damage, and a cool and better spiritshackle in its snipeshot. Mewtwo Y isn't as tanky as X and X already has a lot of the stuff you mentioned with Y hence CC will shut Y down once bursted. Mobility isn't a large issue with most mons in unite as many mons even defenders have dashes or battle items along with good range sometimes to easily close distances. Its a very different experience from league from that alone honestly. There is a lot more to determining a mons strength outside of mobility usually and while its needed survivability is far more op especially when a mon is mobile and has crazy burst damage. Think of it this way Mewtwo Y is like yumi but tankier and X is like release gwen if she had a lazer taht could slow you down and become a nuke and the ability to recover hp while getting mobility buffs or got insane damage buffs and could warp to an opponent.@@philipp_mn

Rapid-fire scarf, slick spoon, float stone with a full heal, then you can use the extra move speed to back up faster from your psystrike I’d personally be using 6 green and 7 black, a couple blue and purple if I can, putting all the stats possible into move speed

Why those emblems? And move speed values are in the thousands so move speed isn’t very important especially because teleport has 2 charges. Float stone and muscle seem like bad picks because mewtwo doesn’t use attack and neither does it’s autos. But rapid should stay.

@@Skillissue448 thanks, I didn’t realize he was a special attacker, but I stand by float stone for movement speed, I use it on pikachu and it works out pretty well I edited my comment, I won’t be using teleport because of the movement speed and full heal serving that function, then I can use recover and psystrike

@@trendingmemes7997 when you’re a ranged special attacker slick spoon helps against tankier close range enemies, and float stone is essential for a move like psystrike because it’s a range based attack and the further you can get away in the time it’s hooked onto an enemy the more damage it’ll do :v That and the combo of full heal and float stone removes the need for teleport so you can have a healing move.

This might be a hot take, but I think that mewtwo Y will be easier to deal with than mewtwo X. Mewtwo Y does deal a lot of damage but since it is a mage, you can counterplay it just by picking an assassin and bursting it down. With mewtwo X, you need quite a bit of coordination (one slowbro or other cc tank, and a couple other members to take it down). lmk what you guys think...

Everyone is so divided about whether it's going to be more killable or even more broken. My guess is Mewtwo X will be better utilized by less skilled players. Mewtwo Y's "skill ceiling" (if you can call it that since it's an ADC with two sure-hits and global Unite) will be its positioning, whereas Mewtwo X just dives and relies on insane stats and free pulls/CC immunity to 1v3

Looks worse. A pull is so much more terrifying than a push. The teleport is also half the distance, and has 2 second higher cooldown. If the cooldown works like every other 2 part move, the cooldown won't start until you use the 2nd teleport, giving it an even higher real cooldown. The recover seems kind of better though since it can charge the pressure gauge out of combat, but that's throwing away an entire move for something teleport already does (faster pressure build up). I have a feeling it's going to end up being a weaker, but safer AoE Inteleon. Kind of hard to outdo 1k guaranteed crits.

Mewtwo X's Future Sight is basically Slowbro's Telekinesis on steroids (Yes, Slow Beam actually does damage, but Telekinesis can drag a opponent close to you if you want). I really hope that one move gets nerfed to the ground

Mewtwo X gonna be way better then since they can't be on the same team and X already has the nutty psystrike and ability to live forever, chase you in your own influx zone and run away form you without ever getting caught and delete teams on its own in the right circumstances. Why would you want mewtwo Y on the team over X. just have inteleon, mewtwo X, Hoopa, A9,and Umbreon/lapras/slowbro and the team will probably be unstoppable. People that play Y are gonna be throwing games considering how bad it is not to have a decent X on your team rn.

Probably that the effect of it gives 75% of your physical attack stat added on to any crits, and that doesn't help special attackers.

Hey Spragels! Yesterday i faced a bug with mewtwo X where i didnt get back to the normal mewtwo after getting mega. I don"t know how that happened, can you look into this if there are more reports like this and what is the reason?

Not Spragels here (obviously! XP), but yes, there have been other reports of this bug! It seems that if Mewtwo X gets hit by Clefable's gravity (which delays evolutions and such) or stunned by some moves *right when it is de-megaevolving*, it doesn't turn back to normal and stays mega

"Luckily" the timing seems to have to be very specific for this bug to activate, but just the fact that it's possible it's nightmare fuel (especially since I like to play Clefable a lot 😅🔫) Add that to the Psystrike's bug that removes objectives from the minimap, the Unite's bug that deals more damage than it should when you go unstoppable, etc... And I mean, what could go wrong with having this mon as an opponent! ^^;

Mewtwo Y seems stronger than X. It seems very squishy, but can autosetup the gauge or double/triple eject, fight at the distance in this infinite special attackers meta, use the broken spoon, but also critting. If mewtwo X was broken, I don't know what to expect in 2 days 😂

Just to give some people clarity on the reason why Inteleon is not too of at using Scope Lens. Scope lens does 3 things. It increases your crit rate by 6%(additive),crit damage by 12%(additive) and gives your crits an extra damage proc based off of your attack stat. Inteleon has the worst attack in the game, so the damage proc is almost nothing. The 6% crit rate also has low value, since you’re almost always critting because of the crit charge passive making you crit 100% of the time, lowering the value of any crit chance increase. The the big one that confused a lot of people, the 12% crit damage increase…. But this should just be a 12% damage increase right? Wrong. It’s additive to the crit damage calculation. All mons except two(azu and Inteleon) all have their damage dealt go from 100% to 200% when they crit. 12% added to that 200 becomes 212%. Becoming about a 6% damage increase on crit. This item doesn’t feel as good on Inteleon because it has a base 250% crit already, so it goes from 250% to 262%, only being a 5% damage increase. This item is amazing(basically mandatory) on Azu since it makes its 170% go to 182%! Big change! Just wanted to clear that up, this could be an ok item on Mewtwo Y, but probably not. But not as bad as it was being compared to Inteleon here since you get the crit rate value as well as crit damage, where Inteleon just got the damage.

Idk how this happened, but I recently played a game with mewtwo x where some kind of glitch occurred, and I was stuck as mewtwo’s mega evolution the whole game. Is this a bug that can occur?

Yep and a crazy one, too! It seems that if Mewtwo X gets hit by Clefable's gravity (which delays evolutions and such) or stunned by some moves *right when it is de-megaevolving*, it doesn't turn back to normal and stays mega I've already seen other comments reporting it under KZbin videos, the most recent ones I can recall were in one of Pikazsu's comment sections
