For the transformers, you can just use an angle grinder to cut off one half of the coil and then use a screwdriver to knock out the other copper. Its a really fast process.

Your comments about the different screw types reminded me of a conversation I had with an electronics engineer. He told me they would have some real knock down arguments about what size and how many screws were needed in various types of electronics. The goal was always to use fewer and smaller screws to save money.

I can't scrap to a 10 minute video. The key is 6 minute abs. Wtf. So anyway Thank you for everything your doing from new York usa. 🖒

Entertaining video Ben but i cant sell transformers where i live right now. My scrap yard only give scrap steel price for them which right now is only $0.02 a pound. So i break apart all my transformers and strip all my circuit boards. Being disabled all i have is time and it gives me something to do.

Why don’t you take a week or two off of buying? I’m sure you’ve got enough backlog of scrap to keep you a float for a week or two? It’ll just make it a lot easier for you to focus on clearing as opposed to shifting your attention every few minutes?

Concerning the brand new monitor.... If the school operates anything like the State of Michigan, USA, if you don't spend all your funding each year, (even on junk you don't need) you won't get as much money the following year, since you didn't spend it all. It's the same reason I have 200 brand new, reflective, perfect condition "Private Drive" signs my state decided they didn't need or want anymore.... lol

SIr, the eliteboks core 2 duo mostly have RS-232, This make them worthy. Many people still working with serial port, and USB adapters are GARBAGE. Getting a machine that can even run any from XP to win10 (core 2 duo can actually) and has RSR232 is really desired in industrial applications. No many notebooks of this era came with that. Probably the last ones. RS232 still used for PBX programming, CNC, router, terminals, scanners. And the lack of this machines is a problem
