I rented a TG16 console for a weekend once mainly to play this and Bonk at the time...but it was always odd it didn't get a Genesis/MD port. It fits the feel of the system and it got the sequels.

Yup, only the sequels. The original was only ported from the arcade to the PC Engine/TurboGrafx-16.

Common I was expecting a major upgrade to game play. Amazing games like gunstar heroes are on the Genesis. We couldn't get some street fighter moves or maybe something more like double dragon ❓ this just looks like a turbo graphics 16 game with crappier sound 🙄 BOO this game. 👺 Big disappointment 👺

@Fuggettabouttitt yes I am for real, I have always felt like the splatter house games were boring after 3 minutes, and I have always thought it would be nice to see a horror game with more engaging and entertaining gameplay. This missed the spot for me.

Splatterhouse is fine as it is, and it was originally an arcade game not tg16. Also, I'm 100% certain you only played stage 1 for a bit then gave up because there is no tutorial or easy mode.

@DemuDesu games like rygar and shadow of the ninja were exciting to play and were limited to the nes performance. We can't let game developers get away with producing mediocre junk without a little criticism. If we do they will never make games great again. This is a smelly poop turd . 🔥💵🔥🚽🔥💵🔥
