All that weight doesn't affect the wall integrity?

I'm jealous! What's the current cost for this type of install?

20k per battery. I just had 50 sunpower panels installed on my house , was going to add batteries but that pushed me over my limit.

@@Robert-dy8jt Yes but that first 20k includes the Hub+ which is not needed for additional ESS so the pricing should be a bit less for add on storage.

I just installed 2 13kwh for 22K and if I added more the price comes down.

So question - the spacing in between each cabinet is pretty slim in this video. My installation had 2' in between the hub+ and 2' in between each cabinet. Did the specification change? This looks like 6 inches in between each cabinet. I would've loved to have saved all of that space and potentially gotten a second set of inverter/batteries for the same kind of install (I didn't know >26kwh was allowed until now).

@SunPower Hello... looking to see if the SunVault install guidelines changed. I'd like to expand my system and I'd like my installer to smush the cabinets more closely together so they can stay on one wall.
@DataGeek9032 жыл бұрын
@@russael001 my understanding is 6" required on each side. If a hub/ESS then only 6" between, not 12"

@@DataGeek903 I did go through and have a second, 26kwh sunvault installed, and the installer wouldn't reduce the space in between the Hub+ and the first sunvault cabinet, so I wound up getting 3 cabinets on one wall and the 4th cabinet on another. It isn't as bad as I thought at least. Decided it wasn't worth voiding warranties over space.

Hello am from Nigeria, someone said I can invest in your company and get profit each day is this true?
@DataGeek9032 жыл бұрын
there is no public company that guarantees that so no.

Cost Savings Mode doesn't run during the weekend, rendering the battery useless. I have to default it to Self Supply or else the battery goes unused on the weekends. I called customer service and they said they're working on it, but they've been working on this for years now... This is just bad customer service after they've already locked people in. Ridiculous

This may depend on your power company's peak hours. Many don't have peak rates during the weekend, so your battery wouldn't do anything in that case. If you do have enough capacity that typically carries you through peak hours, maybe pick self-supply instead. That way the battery will work through the day and into the night. Just leave enough reserve for power outages purposes.
