@@LostArtistryLash most definitely 🫶🏽, I would actually probably use w shaped lashes in the very bottom layer instead of the slightly narrow fan , that would look soooo good too ☺️

Hi Kaitlyn, This video was amazing, as usual!!!! I love using bondage glue because it allows me to have the extra time to place the extension, but when I use fans with quickie I find the the glue is dry by the time I take it out of the glue dot. I’ve tried different ranges suggested for humidity and temp. But its either drying too quick or not drying :( May I ask what is your ideal environment when you use quickie?
@LostArtistryLash Жыл бұрын
Firstly, thank you so much! I’m so thrilled to hear you enjoyed this tutorial!!! ♥️ I know what you mean about quickie. It cures fast for sure. It may just be that you need an extra few seconds to direct and perfectly place the extension or that your clients natural lashes happen to be a little extra challenging which adds a few extra seconds to every isolation + placement. Even as an advanced artist, I sometimes opt for a slower curing glue over a fast one. It really depends on WHO I’m lashing and what I’m doing. Example: if I haven’t lashed in a few days, I’m a little slower so I grab for bondage glue over quickie, same with my curly lashed clients, clients who I am unfamiliar with or for times I’m using a new curl or trying a new technique. I guess the short answer to your question is, if you love bondage, there’s no rush to grab a quicker glue. It only becomes necessary when you find bondage is too slow and you are waiting around for it to cure! That’s a sure sign you will want to use both. When it comes to humidity and temp. My preferred for quickie is 40% humidity + 20 degrees Celsius ♥️ hope this was helpful, if you have any other questions, I’m always happy to chat!!! Oxox

What diameter do you use for this? Amazing! Thank you!
@LostArtistryLash Жыл бұрын
I used .07 for a dark result! Although if you recreate this set on a client with weaker natural lashes I would suggest using .03 or .05 😊 ❤

What is a lash primer??
@LostArtistryLash Жыл бұрын
Our Bond-Aid primer can be used at the beginning of any lash service to rid the lashes of oil, dirt and debris, providing natural lashes with the optimal environment for proper adhesion. A bonus feature of primer is that it also optimizes the results of any lash glue by accelerating the rate at which your glue will cure, allowing for quicker, more effective extension application :)

How is this mega volume
@LostArtistryLash Жыл бұрын
Great question!! It definitely looks different than a traditional mega volume set - It’s a wet lash mega volume style- what classifies it at mega vol is the diameter / dimensions used. If I use .03 or .05 diameter in 7D +, I consider the set mega volume. There’s a huge range of looks I can create though. I would classify this as light mega for sure 😘
@AnAdorableWombat1 Жыл бұрын
This would be considered mega lash. Anything bigger would be mega mega mega lashes and do not look natural at all

Hi! Is there a reasoning for not lashing all lashes? I never know whether to lash them all or not.
@LostArtistryLash Жыл бұрын
This is such a great question 😍 Yes, personally when I'm lashing a client with more than an average amount of layers (5+ layers) I do not get 100% coverage as its not realistic for every day lashing! But it is important to lash with strategy. For all clients I work on, I always make sure to lash the entire bottom layer first as that is the layer that makes the set look dark, full and complete. From there I will lash either the middle or top layer to build the shape (depending if the clients top layer is staggered, if so ill lash the middle layer) Once those 2 layers are lashed the set will look full and complete :) we teach about this in much more detail in our online courses, specifically our Volume Mastery and Advanced Texture course.
