Where do you work bro? I’m in Marco Island Fl and never get clarity like this. Normally 3-7 feet vis in the marinas here
@CaseyTheAlpha4 жыл бұрын
I work in Texas around the lake and in the gulf and around the lake we get around half a foot to a foot. If that. Then the mud kicks up and it goes black cuz it is shallow. Around the gulf I can see a good 6 feet maybe at best. Though one marina has almost 40 foot visibility but it's beyond deep.

I just started doing this type of work in the keys. The canals and marines have quite a few bull sharks. Cant seem to feel comfortable in the water. I started a week ago so will i get comfortable with time? Thanks.

This is the best job I want to do it. Whats the things your love about it, and whats the thinsg you hate about it?
@Seahorsediveservicellc6 жыл бұрын
Usually work is pretty flexible. You can often set your own hours if you work independently. That can be a big perk. It can be relaxing sometimes. Things I hate about it? I wouldn't say anything I really hate, but it can be very uncomfortable. And in some conditions it can be scary. Dark water, zero visibility conditions are common in many places. Sometimes you're working by feel. In some places you'll get stung by jellyfish if every inch of you isn't covered. And there are a host of potential dangers like electrocution, or entanglement, or other wildlife. You have to deal with extreme heat and extreme cold sometimes, in some regions. And you don't always get bathroom breaks.... They make it look simple, but there is a lot that goes into it.

It's a battle basically I've been doing this for a little on an off. Everyone thinks oh this is great the water and work wow so peaceful. Little do they know how dark and depressing and how much of a full body work out it is.....

It depends on the size of the boat/ship and how dirty it is.
