I was working a banquet and these guys brought in a rockband set for like a group of 30 people and it was the first 5 songs in rockband 1 all fucking night because no other songs were unlocked yet.

That's why it was great that Rock Band 3 just gave you all the songs at once. Unlocking stuff is fun, but just give people the stuff because the game is more fun as a party game.
