no lie. One of the best podcast episodes you guys have ever made. I think one of the factors that made it so was because of the guests. Usually it's Rocco,Derrick,Shawn,Garret which can make topics prone to predictability but this time- it came out fresh and all the way funny. btw- it came sooo close to haven it been 2 hours. Shame. Towards the end Shawn really lost it. Can we get a graphic tee of Shawn's crying face with the mega64 logo? It'd be perfect! Fuck , if no one does it , I might just do it.

I think it's so interesting when people describe Dark Souls as a stressful thing. Like, I struggle with the game's difficulty like anybody else but I'm so relaxed when I play those games. There's something peacefully morbid about those games.

I feel like I've seen nothing but overall praise for that series by games journalists, though. I think people are turned off by it simply because of the type of gameplay. It's difficult in the sense that it relies on more danger and punishment for getting hurt/dying than most games these days, as they mentioned in the podcast. And a lot of people, especially adults, they don't have the time to learn the muscle memory required to play it, so it feels like a waste?

Haha the sphere grid exploit of FF10 saves all the hours of grinding, you go to the battle arena in the plains and equip AP to XP, fight a master tonberry and hell hit for like 99,999 and all goes to XP. you max the grid in hours. replaying those older games is much better when you can save time like that. 9 is great too..12 I love the combat so much and being able to run into places to farm the really high level chests for the good shit running past enemies. wish 12 had way more plot the world was so great.
