Fuck yeah excited for Dallas. There was a long stretch without him and you had him on in the past few years and it was such a treat to see him back. He's been a recurring guest for so long but it's so rare. When he's on I feel like it's 2008 again for some reason. In a great way.

Derrick Acosta as the Dwarf Fighter: Derrick is the tough-as-nails fighter of the group, always ready for a physical challenge. Despite his gruff exterior, Derrick has a heart of gold and often takes on the role of the protector for his fellow Mega64 members. He is fiercely loyal and will do whatever it takes to keep his friends safe. Stats: Strength 18, Constitution 16, Dexterity 12, Intelligence 8, Wisdom 10, Charisma 14. Shawn Chatfield as the Half-Orc Rogue: Shawn is the sneaky rogue of the group, always lurking in the shadows and ready to strike when the time is right. Garrett Hunter as the Human Paladin: Garrett is the righteous paladin of the group, always fighting for justice and the greater good. I was 400+ lbs at my worst and got down to 220 lbs about a year and a half ago, was the healthiest I've ever been in my life. Then about a year and a half ago I moved and completely lost all determination I had. Currently up to 260 lbs and just can't get my shit together again, struggling hardcore. I know what I need to do but I just can't do it, I don't know what happened but something clicked and I'm back to my own ways. Fuck I DO NOT want to go back up above 300lbs but I'm quickly heading that way again. Motivation has always been my major problem, my natural state is sitting on my ass. I was up running everyday and exercising, now I'm back to sitting on my ass. Your motivation speech makes me want to get back to it though, I just hope I can get back into it again. Derrick do you have any motivation content that you could suggest? Any thing you could suggest would be greatly appreciated. If not, no worries. Good luck on your continued journey!

You don't need advice from a KZbinr. Make yourself better. Been there done that myself. Make goals, even if they're not fitness related. Make small changes and keep at it. I lost 95lbs then started gaining muscle weight, I'm not wealthy, don't eat especially well. Basic fitness and common sense, work your way up. KEEP AT IT MAN!

@@ProgSnob14 Oh I know, I'm not really looking for advice. I just find that using outside tools can help to keep focused, was just wondering what Derrick using for those moments where you need some outside motivation or outside accountability. I know, you gotta do it yourself, but there are days where that's not there or it's not enough and sometimes that little outside push can keep you moving in the right direction. As I said, I've already lost 200 plus pounds so I'm not stranger to that. Just been having a lack of motivation this past year and been mostly maintaining.

@@Kramerica962 I totally get that, fellow ass-sitter. I've ended up in the same slump a few months ago after getting busy with a new job and moving too, and for me personally what got me back into it was just doing small exercises every now and then until the body remembered "oh yeah, doing that feels GOOD" and I finally started getting some of that motivation back. Still not back at where I was but chipping away at it. Going one step at a time instead of thinking "I need to get back to running __ long and lifting ___ lbs" goes a long way and you'll be there before you know it. Let's keep at it, brother.

I wish I had advice to give, but I'm just posting to support a fellow internet soldier. You can definitely do it. Motivation is a tough one to crack, but you'll do better this next time because you have the experience from last time. Good luck!

Changing my health and diet was the single greatest thing I have ever done for myself in my life. I went from skinny fat too lean and muscular but the biggest improvement was better mental clarity and physicality in my day to day life. I am at the point now where soda, sweets, fast food, beer none of it even sound remotely appealing. Now I crave things like salmon or eggs. Ultimately all of this is a life style change and it never stops, you just get used too it. My best advice for my internet soldiers out there is to start small and ramp it up just a little every week. I also highly recommend calisthenics for functional strength, plus you can do it at home with zero dollars. No matter who you are or where you are in your life just remember you got this and you can 100 percent do this!

Tell ya what, as a personal trainer it is impossible to get clients to lose weight if they're drinkers. Weight management is so far down the list of priorities if someone's an alcoholic.

if you think you have body dysmorphia, responding to it by committing to changing your body to match what you think it *should* look like doesn't strike me as terribly healthy. body dysmorphia is a mental health issue, and should be treated as one
