Hey Mike, love what you do. You're the only streamer I've ever found who is bullshit free. No product placement, no clique community, full unedited videos without constant jump cuts and ADHD inducing brain rot. I hope you're doing well man. Thanks again.

it's nice that someone made a Strike game throwback, but I kind of hate how it's all 80s core, look at me I'm totally 80s right now. especially since it's a 90s series. shoutout to Manbaby Inc

To answer your question, Mike. I do have alerts on my phone. If it's some weird ass hour, I simply ignore your streams. If it's a decent time, I'm all in though.

Glad you gave this a try, I was going to recommend it when it came out. A few helpful tips: The Blood Orbs are not the same thing as the Sacrifice Hearts. The Orbs are dropped by random enemies, and you spend them to use your Super, with "X". I think its 2 Orbs per Super use. The Hearts are currency for upgrades. And you can buy a third weapon slot in the Operations Shop in the Utilities tab.

In regards to Mike talking about hacks, one of my favorite things to rewatch are Mike's Zelda II hacks for the NES. However, when it comes to playing hacks, I'll do Zelda 1 and Link to the Past personally. Mike playing Zelda II hacks are perfect for when I have to clean the house or engage in some project that takes a few hours. My male cat other the other hand, loves watching Mike play games like Milon's Secret Castle and Solomon's Key.

The trailer made this game look like there were lots of attacks and weapons. At the end of the game all i see is a machine gun and a tiny laser 😬 What happened to eating the enemy souls to get more health ❓

I love games that you can figure out on your own, or with little help. I tried playing Ori and the will of the Whisps on Xbox and everytime I get somewhere I stumble into another dead end and felt like I was googling guides half the time. To each their own I guess, though.
@niemand78115 ай бұрын
Ori games are taxing. Started to play them side by side only to get stuck at one point (in both games). And when I feel like a guide is the only way out I stop playing the games entirely.

@niemand7811 I'm pretty much the same way, if I'm having to follow something step by step like that in a video game it does take away the fun.

Glad to see someone had an interest in making a tribute to the Strike series. While I prefer the original series aesthetics, looks like a fun game I want to check out. Your rant 3 hours sounds like a tribute the human condition of today! I enjoy the Mega Man hacks for example, but less interested in the Mario ones. So amazingly, I am just less likely to engage with those and wait for the next video... Also, isn't still pretty difficult to accurately emulate Playstation/Xbox/Dreamcast games? I'm not in the the know enough on "modern console" emulation, but I think that is benefit of the MvC collection and they're supposed to be the true arcade ports, not console versions. However, why isn't MvC3 and MvC: Infinite included? Feels like the collection isn't complete without them.

The advice for emulators is kinda cool but also kinda off at the same time. People should have figured that out on their own like I and many others did over twenty years ago when emulation was still in its infancy. How much time it took going from those early ZSNES and SNES9x or whatever to BSNES version 1.14. Or this shitty DOS emulator for early NES roms. NESticle it was called. Like NES Testicle. Those times. But I also like to support developers even in their lazy days selling us classics we know for decades. At least now I can play many games as arcade perfect as possible without noticeable emulation mistakes if there are any at all.

you should do that top 10 cowboy thing. i have two suggestions. first would be to put someone from RDR2 in the list. but NOT Arthur Morgan or John. id say Bill or Hosea. praise them. show them in scenes with Arthur/John but you cant mention the video game. you cant mention the more famous cast. just talk about how great the other is. second you should look up some ov the cattle driving stories. compile them and then make up a cowboy and make him number one. his entry should be half the video and consist of made up stuff. and James should be as entertained as he is when he is talking about the Silver Age ov Horror. the joke will be since you will be mentioning 'the lone ranger' and 'the man with no name' every other 'cowboy' is just as fictitious as they are since the wild west era was 10 years TOPS. its a made up time in history that movies are still made for.

Who needs fireweeks, BBQs and drunk people when one can watch an opinionated asshole play a sentient copter ripping out people's hearts and dining on it? Have to say that the gameplay of shmups like the Strike series just never appealed to me. I much prefer the sidescrolling (either vertically or horizontally) type of shmups rather than this free-range, isometric type stuff.
