I went to a jr high school.where there were only maybe half a dozen metalheads. We were all more or less marginalised because we werent into "what was popular". I remember a teacher telling my friend and I that he knew.what we were going through. He rolled up his sleeve to reveal a very crude homemade tattoo that was a cross with "BLACK SABBATH" written accross it. "Imagine sporting that in 1971 when everyone was either still a hippie or into funk music" he said to us. He was the real shit. He understood.

I certainly disagree. Slayer is more poetic while being satanic as fuck something i fucking love , anthrax s got more punky themed lyrics and id definitely mark em better , metallica s got better themes , i would give it a tie with overkill due to overkill's being too general. Im tired of Dave's shit. Themes about life and personal experiences could possibly have a place in metal but not that much as they have in Megadeth.

He is still alive. He wrote this song after his second overdose he was pronunced clinically dead. Taunting rigamortis... He would overcome another overdose and death before getting completely clean.. He's been my idol since 1983 when I first saw Metallica in Dallas. He's a genius writer , composer, and is fluent in several languages including French and Spanish He's also a Souless Ginger ; ) And has an extreme ability to play cords most guitarists can't accomplish.. #DroogiesRule 🖤 We have tickets for April of 2021 live show in Denver Co

I've always thought the line was quoting what you would hear in a hospital or something. We can't see you yet, so you have to wait. I think it implies not being able to get help, so you "help" yourself the only way you know how. There's 99 ways to die, pick one. That's my perspective.
