I've been a lifelong Megadeth fan. But Dave's refusal to stand by his so-called "friend and brother" disgusted me. When your so-called "brother" is in their time of need, you don't cast them aside. You help them. You support them. You stand by their side. The only thing Mustaine has ever been loyal to was the needle in the heroin that was contained therein. He has always been a liar, a junkie, and a piece of shit. He was always able to put just enough of a polish on himself to cover up the smell. I'm literally done with him. I've sold two of his custom guitars that I had in my collection and I will never buy any of their music, merchandise, or go see them live ever again. I don't support weak, morally bankrupt scumbags that parade themselves as a fake Christian. Mustaine's daughter better feel grateful that she can sing. I'm pretty sure Dave would have her out on the corner selling her ass if she couldn't. I am excited to see what doors open for Ellefson now. Whatever projects He partakes in, I'm behind him 100%.

In the 80s cliff overshadowed junior, then cliff died, and people were distraughtnover cliffs death and that in it of itself kind of overshadows junior. Then add in Dave and his personality and his energy plus you have all these other mindmelting musicians and it would be hard not to be overshadowed.
