It's actually Poland's that are harder to play generally. The end solo here is his hardest in at least Peace Sells era Megadeth. He's also my favorite guitar player, with Fredrik Thordendal as a close second.

Nailed it. Chris Poland has my favorite lead guitar tone. I was searching for a different approach though, to see if sounds good without his signature tone. It's like Chris recorded his legendary solos with modern enhancements. I don't think he used the whammy bar that much, but the pitch is very accurate. Also much respect for you, for doing 2 Dave Mustaine solos, 2 Chris Poland solos and all the riffs in one sitting.

@@ristridi There's this Finnish guy finowa who has been on here forever making covers and other stuff. He fucks up quite regularly - a bum note here, sour bend there but it's still super obvious he's very, very skilled. He was even asked by Jeff Waters to join Annihilator, which says it all. That 'human' factor is always gonna be there. Besides, very few bands record their parts as one clean recording, which you always seem to do. I think you're up there with the tightest cover channels I've ever come across on this site and I've been checking them out quite regularly for, what is it now, 15 years? (yikes!! that long?!) GOOD JOB :)

Dude don't worry. Chris Poland is a master, and I also don't get close to him. When you did deep into his playing you will realize he's just so precise with his playing, you would have to dedicate your entire life to the guitar to come close. But that doesn't mean that you can't have fun getting a step closer everytime you try something like him :) keep practicing!

Friedman stuff are also good & difficult but it can be done.. also the RIP album is amazing which i have learnt it by now.. but peace sells album is the one for me...
