This is fantastic Nabil!!! I wish I could do this cover but for hobbie drummers like me the part at 2.52 is very tricky haha . Great job!!!

How much did all of that cost?

What do you use to record/pick up your cymbals? I guess I don't see any mics picking up your ride, crashes, hihats, china...etc?
@NabilKarsheh10 жыл бұрын
I use two overheads. You can see the stabd of them, but in other videos you might see the mics as well
@tylerbopp13410 жыл бұрын
Oh, okay. I was watching your drum covers among others and the quality of your cymbals was so good and really stuck out and I am still learning how to get good sound out of my acoustic set when recording so I wanted to ask you because it sounded so good. Thank you! If you don't mind me asking, what kind of mics do you use to record your toms, snare, bass drum, and over head mics?
@NabilKarsheh10 жыл бұрын
Hi Tyler Bopp. For bass drums I use "Sennheiser md421", for snare "Audix i5", for toms low budget "T-bone cd55" and for overheads also a pair of low budget "Behringer c2". Everything goes into a "Peavey pv20usb" mixer and via usb into an old computer with a very old recording software back from 2001 :) The handicap is that all the drums is recorded in one track, but i you manage to get everything right on the mixer you can put afterwards some compression and EQ on it, and it will sound as you here in my videos. Not the best, but hey, these are drum covers for youtube and not for recording a studio album :) but since i get this question more often I should consider in making a video about my recording process&equipment
@tylerbopp13410 жыл бұрын
Yes you should for sure make a video discussing cymbals, toms, equipment, software, hardware, and everything in your videos, itd help you and your viewers out a lot!
