Not really, people are always looking for outrage in their younger years, especially when they're just getting into politics. It's always outrage when there is a Republican president. They said the same shit about the Bush's and Romney/McCain when they ran too. It's a old tired tactic Dems use to discredit the other side and it's easy to do when they control the narrative with MSM propaganda.

@@tidalwave1977 I remembered the liberal media machine calling the Tea Party Republicans a bunch of far right extremists. My dad's generation the liberal media back then called Barry Goldwater a racist just because he didn't want to sign in the civil rights act because he felt it was completely unconstitutional. Really cool song, I had to look up what PMRC was, and this song is about the fight against censorship. too bad some douchebag in Moncton posted this as his parting epitaph, but really, he could have just as easily chosen some rap song or a violent dubstep video. he's 24, and this album came out in the mid 80s, so there's no connection to him other than his own vain sick logic that he wants to resemble the album cover

if there could've been a "Thrash An!hem" that was unsung in '88, and for years to come, I would've chosen this. It's more meaningful than "Caught in A Mosh", angrier than "One" or "Blackened", and a little less destructive than "Raining Blood". Not that I didn't worship all of those other songs, and still do to a degree, But "So Far So Good" is really my fave Megadeth album and I remember how passionate Dave M. and crew were about the defense of First Amendment. Truly, this song has stood the test of time, and is just as scarily appropriate in lots of parts of the world today (yes including America)! \m/ \m/

What is sad is that the original copies are going for 100 dollars on ebay. Also, what is sad is that our children are probably not going to hear the original album as a wave file, but as some other more compressed media thus not getting more of the analogue experience.
