Its kind of the same with every other band member that's been in Megadeth and gone. They get a couple years of playing the song in its best form, then the line up changes and the song kinda sucks live, it's almost like groove juice for Dave's vocals. This is the best performance I've found of this song, I checked out one from 92 and from 2010, not even close to this.

One of the most interesting metal songs ever. Highly sophisticated rhythm changes and tonality. Never been that much of a Megadeth fan but this song always gave me the goose bumps. Exceptional lyrics, which is also highly unusual for a metal song.

The "time has a way of taking time" section is seriously one of Mustaines most impressive rhythm sections and I've been listening for a too long... He is playing a line that has around 12 different power chords change around the whole fretboard, and his singing is NOT keeping rhythm with the guitar which is seriously hard to do if you aren't proficient especially in this situation. Many people pay their respects to Holy Wars, saying how impossibly impressive it is to sing and play his guitar work but I beg to differ. Holy Wars is managable, it's a bitch but THIS is a whole 'nother beast.

in my darkest hour is my all time favorite megdeth song off so far so good so what! and I just got one of the shirts I heard this song when megadeth played boston the end of last year and hadn't heard it performed in some years we also got set the world on fire thats my second favorite song so far so good so what! I really hope that Dave will continue to play these songs at future megadeth shows because I never had the chance to see the early Dave Mustaine years peace sells and so far so good so what! or Rust in Peace!

Yeah, sorry, but I'm not much familiar with Megadeth's early members. I mean, all the other solos, Chris Broderick nails every single solo, but this one is tricky because of the 'scream' with the floyd rose bridge. No one seems to do that like Jeff did.
