Yep. I'm not sure where this was, but at one time Dave lived in Phoenix, AZ (Paradise Valley area actually, nearby Alice Cooper). There are alot of small size venues like this in the Phoenix area, and I could see them playing incognito at a couple of them. One of the best shows I saw Megadeth was in a downtown concert venue called America West Arena at the time. I was fairly close to the stage, higher up with a great view looking down. I remember being very impressed with Dave's long rack of guitars on stage that he changed out frequently for different songs. That was fun to watch.

After Metallica got greedy laws changed and that's why you don't see live bands playing music anymore if they play top 40 a fee must be paid yearly bye a bar or place music is played before they play. My friend got fined 2500 for a band that played top forty music and someone turned him in. Peace
